Plasma/Flatscreen HDTVs have become very cheap in US, but are still expeensive in Nepal. Has anyone got one from the US and taken/shipped it to Nepal?

We do have a 110V-220V and 60/50Hz converter, so that's not a problem.

In nepal, Syustem is PAL (Phase altering Lines)  in US TV system is NTSC ( standard set by National Television System Committee) or SECAM (French for "Sequential Color with Memory) so it wont work

as much as like the prices here on sale for flat screen hdtvs, it won't be worth it to take big tv with you. The prices of hdtvs are not that expensive in kathmandu. you can get samsung 40" LED hdtv for about 1 lakh.
