h1b approved on 3rd december 2012 and contract is about to end with the client on 6th december 2012 .

Here are few questions. I expect to get a reliable answer from the experienced friends.

1. After the contract ends with a client company, what if my consulting company(who is my employer who holds my h1b) lays me off or terminate my h1b giving reason no client available at the moment. If my employer terminates my h1b, if I am not wrong I have to leave usa immediately.
- If my employer A terminates my h1b, can I still be able to transfer to employer B?

- If Positive, How many days I will have for that?

2. In such case can I find CPT university and switch back to cpt-f1 status? I was in cpt when I filed h1b. how long it will take for that?

Please provide me a relevant suggestion.

Usually Dhotis will hold your H1b as long as you pay them taxes every month. They'll run your payroll.

If Employer A terminates your H1b, you can still transfer to Employer B as long as it's within few days.. There's no specific guideline on how many days you've to do that. It dpends on different case and scenario.

Getting CPT immidiately is not easy.

Thank you for the information.
mero consultancy  Dhotis ko hoina, it's of khaire. But paiso ko kura ayo paci mahadev ko pani teen netra bhane jhai ho.
Actually, aile pani university ko course lee rako chu and  last I-20 they issued had the CPT date till end of next year.
So I think if i can regain that CPT if something goes wrong.
