What's the most convenient way of sending over 6k to Nepal? I'm talking abt money transfers ala Wester Union, Moneygram etc, not Bank transfers which could take upto a week.
Thank you.

If you already clearly stated that you ar not willing to send money through Bank, then I'd strongly suggest you to go through following:
Other means of sending money might end up with more queries such as documented reason for sending money ( it may involve supporting reason from Nepal Bank, parent statements, loands if any, recent USA bank statement, source of income etc.
This is just my personal experience. FYI, I was trying to send money to NEPAL and right before the final approval I was then interviewed by Western Union Money transfer Area Manager (over the phone) and was asked above mentioned queries. I could not send the money immediately and was then asked to provide supporting documents ( which i did not have and would have taken at least 1-2 weeks). I then went for Bank route.
Hence, Please get all the information beforehand.

PS: I still highly recommend to send money via bank as it is hassle-free despite of max 1 week delay. In my case it was BoA.
