साँची यो देशमा कोईपनि एस्तो व्यक्ति छैन जसले यो loadshedding को समस्या हल गर्छ ?
I think it would be foolish to blame on rain because we have lots of rivers. May be I am wrong. But what about the places where there are not plenty of rain and few rivers?
So frustrating.

You sound really astonished as if we'd never heard of 14-hrs of loadshedding before. Didn't it get hiked up to 18 hrs.day just a couple years ago?

What really annoys me is that there is not even a single concrete plan to reduce loadshedding in say like 10 years from now.  Solving problem right away is not always possible, but at least you can plan a solution....

The plan is to make Nepal the most romantic country in the world with the most candlelight dinner on a daily basis. We should support the government.

all projects are terminated way before it's planned.
Even those planned are dissolved—commission, politics.
and their excuse of low rain water is plain lame.
Private hydro projects are being treated as 'sauta ko choro'
or they're almost non-existence.
Don't look anywhere, just look at 'melamchi' .. and see in the name of
melamchi, how many issues we've. Each and one of those issues
even if looked realistic, behind the scene it has political motives.
As long as there are parasites(corrupt politicians) in Nepal , there's nothing
you can do brother, live with it.

There is no denying that Kathmandu has become the darkest Capital in the planet.Electricty has become as elusive and precious as anything. The NEA--No Electricity Authority of Nepal--has just flashed new schedule of dark hours without  shame backed by same ol excuses. The main problem is people who are at helm to solve these malfunctions are themselves oblivious of the sufferings of the people as their quarters never taste such scarcity.I too wondered sometimes: isn't there any Maikaalaal or say electricity expert or whoever that might be who can come up with an operable plan to ward off this pity case? All those frequent revolutions from Con-gress,Ay malee, Maaa..O badi and new brands of Mafia from Terai promising super transformation of the country and circumstances to the natives has gone in vain. Our netas who are already being honoured with slaps and punches  has just announced yesterday  another round of revolt ( joke of the day) with obvious intention of getting pass  to enter Baluwatar without much care of citizens situations.Whole country has gone haywire with the lack of electricity and  gone are the days when students reading in candle were declared future presidents; its a way of life.It seems the rivers of Nepal will flow in its own pace  just like it has from ancient times with mighty rolling currents while making jokes at people of this land for  not seeing so valuable a assest just in their pocket and spending time arguing in bauble matters.God bless Nepal.

Look at the shameless bastards in every political party. Majority of these leaders including murderer Prachanda,Makune, Sujata were/are driving the pajeros from these funded hydropower projects. Corruption starts right there from the abuse of these vehicles, driver, fuel, fake maintenance costs, etc. Then, the hydropower hakims get the passport to abuse power for their own benefit. Organized gunda of looters Baidhya maobadi recently damaged crores of properties of private hydropower project about 1-2 weeks ago. Baidhya maobadi looters have been targeting and damaging several ongoing small hydropower projects; they are against the start of any big size hydropower projects. Corruption is inherent in our society. We talk and blame these bloodsuckers here anonymously. But I doubt if we have the balls to raise any genuine issues and blame them if we ever come across them. I have seen many people trying to impress the same corrupted leaders they were decrying even though they probably don't need anything from them. Well, that's how our society operates. So, darkness is inevitable. It's not ONLY leaders' fault. We have OUR share in the downfall of our nation.

What I have heard from newspaper, loadshedding is all because of bribing by inverter producer, distributor ,CFLlightbulb bussinessman, generator bussiness house to NEA staff and politician.
because they dont want big hydroprojects to take place in the country for some period of time and they can rip the benefits from this situation
imagine the money generated from invertor sales andCFL bulb
