REPUBLICA ONLINE

RAJBIRAJ, June 10: Student leaders threw stones and sandals at the visiting team of former king Gyanendra Shah in Saptari, on Monday.

The leaders of various student organizations attacked the team right after Shah came out of Rajbiraj’s Star Deluxe hotel where he had been staying, at 3 pm today.

Eye witnesses say the assailants, some 10 to 12 in number, hurled stones and sandals at the former king, shouting anti-monarchial slogans. Police had to intervene to disperse them. Five student leaders have been held in the incident.

A tattu is a hardworking animal. It would never hurl stones at somebody for no reason. Respect.
