hi, I had applied for my asylum in jan 2013 and I got my first receipt letter in jan 16 and finger print letter in 18 jan, so I gave my finger print and till todays date I am wainting for my asylum interview. I am still in status that is F1 and I want to know if you can tell me what to do in this situation I applied for asylum for virgenia, your help will be really appricated.

When you applied for asylum my understanding is you lost your status!!! You may want to ask your lawyer.

Isn't filing asylum a visa fraud? what kind of situation warrants the eligibility for asylum. How can I know I am eligible for asylum. Is everything you are doing legal?
