Anyone been through this route?

YVR-Shanghai (PVG)- Kunming (KMG)- Kathmandu 

I have 2 transit in China,

4 hours in Shanghai
14 hours in Kunming

Do I need to have transit visa, if my arrival in Shanghai and departure from Kunming is less than 24 hours?

Anybody been through same situation

:) :) :)
