I am tring to redownload window 7 and I was able to bypass the admin password. Tried to redownload the software from the default slot.

I was able to open on safemode and tried to reload win 7 did not work. I think I shut it down many times pressing on off botton, it does not do anything other than blinking , even left overnight did not happen anything. either.

It is HP , has 4 gb memory and 750 gb hard drive.
I promised somebody to reload window 7. Just want to do it.

Any suggestion?

 My 3 HPs died the same way, Usualy its because of the god awful cooling that affects the graphics chip. You could try to reapply thermal paste and reset the CMOS battery by taking it off for a second. Wise thing would be to just buy another machne and get data bac from HDD.

No offence but what's the point of stating your RAM and HDD size to ask for help for this problem? And maxpayne, you must be some special kind of breed to buy a third HP when two had died before.

Don't buy HP. It overheats.

Once you setup Bios: 1st is cd Rom and second is Hdd? 
It should automatically check second on one ? 

It is asking me rebot and select proper bood device or insert bood meida in selected boot device and press a key.

I was able to go on window 7 before, why it is asking me this? 
Once I was able to go to Safemode too.

 Furke, lots of people with HPs when they were cheap and popular.

RIP HP, your Windows 7 Restore partition is corrupt,
Like with most HP, prolly your GPU is already fried as well..buddy..

Btw, it's not called redownload, it's called Windows 7 factory re-setup using recovery partition.
What is 'default slot'? anyway..

I took off the wire hooked up with cd rome and placed on Hard drive. Now it shows start window normally or safemode.
But it is taking me nowhere?
