The first time I heard his cover of Baby by Justin Bieber ft. Ludacris , the exact words that came out of my mouth was “What the Effff”. It was out of rhythm, taal,beat, you name it. My knowledge of music is very basic but I can atleast differentiate between a good singing and a bad one. This one was worse!!

Normally people would stop right there, when they know that this person can’t sing and his covers are horrible. But frankly I was tempted to click on the next cover he did. Infact, I had a good laugh when I watched his first video. Second video I watched, I had an urge to kill him for murdering my favorite Jason Mraz song. I was amused by his capacity to annoy people with his horrible singing talent (Yes, I will call it a multitalent….coz he can sing and annoy people at the same time)

He has so many dislikes on his videos and people are swearing at him right and left but amazing that he has not stopped uploading his videos. The last one I think he uploaded was John Legend’s “All of me” ( Astha Tamang Maskey surely got a big competition from this guy..lol).

Last week an online radio station in Kathmandu interviewed Sajin Maharjan. To my surprise I saw the different side of this person. I still say he is a bad singer, but he is a genuine honest guy. When asked if he thinks he is a good singer, astounding that he said he is not a singer, he claimed to be an entertainer (and I agree that his singing entertains me coz I am annoyed in a certain way). With utter honesty he said that in the scale of 10, 10 being the highest, he rates himself at 3. For his first covered song he rated himself at 0.5. Said he had improved with time (This is a serious LOL from me)

He even shared that because in some ways he was bullied in school, he went into depression for 3 years and also had to go through medication (he does sound a bit mental at times). He shared this story where some guys had beaten him up one night, just for no specific reason. He said these guys had come with their faced hidden and asked if he is Sajin Maharjan and had beaten him up.

After the entire episode, I thought he is just a guy who wants to be normal. Who wants to do what he loves to do. We all have choices not to watch his video. He never came to us and asked/pleaded us to watch and share his video. And I am totally against bullying. He might be annoying but bullying and beating up for no valid reason shows how threatened these other boys are of this not so good singer.

I appreciate his persistence and his will to do what he wants to do, regardless of people standing against him and discouraging him again and again. Maybe, miracle will happen someday and he turns out to be a good singer……They say, when people are persistent, they change the course of the wind!!!!

Wow, this thread has gone way past readble.

I had never heard about Sajin Maharjan before and he seems to have no special abilities (except to annoy people if by chance you hear him singing; thanks to coverage from Ambrosia) for which people are expected to know him.
From the previews of this thread, I also learnt that he gets called in for interviews. Looks like media has no things to cover about or do they just want to make fun of him? The media seems to be pathetic for bringing this talentless guy to spotlight.

To the question: Who is Sajin Maharjan?
He is just a STUPID kid who is wasting the bandwidth and space of youtube.

STUPID you say: yes, stupid enough not to know that even though he rates himself 0.5 out of 10, he has his singing ability displayed in public so that people can ridicule him. If he is being ridiculed then that's what he invited and he fully deserves it. What does he expect, certainly not applause?

When I listen to song, i listen because the music is good not because the guy is honest.

He's kind of a weirdo and people like weird stuffs.
Mr. Bean, a character, is a weirdo and we like him. Just to prove my words.
But this kid, his perception is like he's been taken as some celebrity, with fame and name. And he's as weirder as Mr Bean, I'm afraid to say, but this kid is among us for real whereas Mr. Bean is not.
He can't go anywhere and sing a song like a screaming goat. But he manages to go out there, coz you ppl are encouraging him and laughing at his activities. He needs help ASAP and if not, all of you who've been praising/laughing at this activities will be responsible one day but I hope that fate never knocks on his door. TBH, I wasn't a weirdo like that and I've never seen anyone like him while growing up.
