Hi! I am Shelly. I had crashed my car near Jhamsikhel couple of weeks ago. The road is a mess and the bike riders are hopeless. A Pulsar bike way passed me from the wrong side in such a speed that I lost balance while trying to save this stray dog, I hit the lamppost which has not been in use for ages.

Thank god my car has some insurance so I could send it for a fix. The mechanic told me that he will fix it in 2 weeks time at the earliest. Now I had no option than to take a public transport. For 2 days I took a taxi to work but it was coming a bit expensive for me so the third day I decided to take a Sajha bus. Oh my long awaited wish to ride one of these big green buses sinces its operations.

I knew that Sajha has a stop at Pulchowk , the Damkal chowk. So I stool exactly right below the Sajha Bus sign. After almost 10 minutes, I saw the bus coming and slowing down right infront of me. Excited I step ahead. A lot of other people also stepped ahead. Somehow i got inside the bus and found only seat empty. I think i am smart in such regards that I said excuse me to this gentleman infront of me and took the seat. I know its gonna be a long ride from Pulchowk to PaniPokhari.

I took out my tablet and started fiddling around, the man beside me tried to peep into what I was doing. I felt a bit awkward so a tried to pull myself a little further than him. And my eyes fell on someone. Do I know him? Mmmm i don’t remember. He was sitting a seat before mine on the other side. Light grey formal pants, palest of pink shirt, his leather bag handing by his right shoulder. I checked that he was wearing a Fossil watch.I went deeper in my observation and checked his finely dusted brown loafer. I couldnt see but he was wearing a classy sunglasses.

Suddenly, the bus took a jerk! And he dropped the bag. He tries to pick his bag, and he turns his head and sees me staring at him. Our eyes met. I was trying to turn towards the window and I couldnt and I was forced to return back his smile. He changed his position and now he can actually see me from the corner of his eyes. I saw the name Chomsky ...meaning he was reading some book by Noam Chomsky was my guess.

He looked at me again and smiled. I smiled back. I raised my eyebrow and gestured to show me the book. He straightens it and I was right, it was “Failed State” by Chomsky. I popped my eyes to show “woaaahhh!! You read that???Impressive”. He chuckles and nods “No!! Noo!!”. I insisted “Yes!Yes!”.

The bus takes a big screeching break and halts. He acts fidgety and hurrys to the door. Turns around and gestures, BYE!. I shyly smile back.

The whole day, I thought about him. Am I going to see him tomorrow as well? He is going to take the same bus? Does he travel everyday on Sajha? Am I going to smile at him tomorrow as well? Should I talk to him?Why should I talk to a stranger? Am I over reacting? I need to act indifferent tomorrow.

With all these million thoughts I went back home in the anticipation to see this man the next day. Struggling with one of a long night, I woke up. I got ready in a jiffy and was at the bus stop. Tick tick one!! tick tick two!! Bang! The bus is here. I hopped on and my eye scanned the entire bus in less than 10 seconds but I didnt see him.

My car is back now. I drive to work alone. I never saw him again. Every time I see Sajha bus, I remember that smile and my heart smiles thinking someday I will see him again, SOMEDAY!!!!

oops! almost forget about my story. today little bit in aggressive mood.
office ko meeting ma laptop ya mobile nachala re. aba afno Amby ko post pani padna napaunu office ko meeting ma. gajab cha. :)
i ain't care. manager hos ya director vp or CIO, sojo ain't going to listen to anyone except Ambrosia  :)
so, the story goes like this..
------------------------------------
couple of years back i was in Texas for my very first job. uff! first job, was bit nervous. Even not sufficient back up money.
ka basne, k khane, ka jane, nothing was planned. For a while was staying @ hotel (employer paid for that)
During my stay, I used to browse facebook a lot to kill my time. That was the time when i first met her online.
She was one of my thrilling crush. i did mention about her before, she did write very well and her way of writing's superb.
I still have a kinda sense, Amby is that her. :)
Well! she was freaking talented however very stupid and crazy. Often used to mock me for my bad english. I did learn bit of english from her.
Well I am learning from Ambrosia too.
Her story kunai arko din.
-------------------------
So, was staying at hotel. No car, no access to public transport. That's why no option for food too. For almost a week I could just eat junk food
from nearby gas station as hotel was in the middle of freeway. I actually lost 7 lb in just 5 days. Good way to loose calories.
Eventually i got a roommate(of course indian.. :( ). i was sharing room with those freaks. They ain't that bad, however still better than
some nepalese freaks that i have met :P.

Every morning, I had to rush to catch a bus of 8:45 to office. Else, had to wait for 30 minutes for the next one.
Bus ma sabai darlagda kale haru matra hunthey though everyone was not African American. Rest used to be Indian.
Indian pani kamta darlagda huncan. After all they are black too. Ain't being racist :) Keep on reading, you'll know I am not.

Office haleedai janthey, halka kaam gareko jasto garthey ani authey. :0
Salary aii halthyo. Kya mastee thiyo. Even No state/city tax. Texas is kinda good place. I like it.

Ek din roommate le garda I was running late to office. I missed the 8:45 bus. Had to wait for 9:30 one.
The bus arrived, I was in and there you go! kaag haruko beech ma white swan. Blak Swan ko Natalia Portman jhai good looking theen.
I was bit amazed.
Oh yea! She was from India. Still, super like. See! didn't i say i ain't a racist. :)
Next day, with my clear concise, i missed 8:45 bus and since then I started missing 8:45 bus only to catch a bus at 9:30 no matter I used to be late for office.
Who cared!! office was the second priority. :) First one was not to miss 9:30 one to have 20 minutes of wonderful mesmerizing ride with her.
Everyday after seeing her I used to develop an imagination like a freaking artist. God! can't help with this imagination thing.
Don't know when a day dreaming stuff would stop for me.
She kinda knew I used to have a peek at her but she ain't care the way she just never did give a damn to any of the other dhotis who used to hit on her.
yup! one day, we were in the same seat but no wonder sojo keto is like sojo lajalu keti. J gare ni kt sanga bolnai sakdaina.

Days passed, till that time, it was almost couple of months at my job. I was praised by my lead for doing good work. There again I started
developing imagination of expectation to be on project for a long period.
(I have read in someone's diary, "Don't expect, expectation hurts, when you don't expect every moment is a surprise and Surprises bring happiness". I always read and forget)
I expected and still got a surprise email, an email indicating that they're terminating my contract. WTF!! Never know what's going on boss life. :P
That email made me scared a bit for a while then I just smiled and laughed. I was like, oh Boy! you still have to struggle. Get ready for it.
Here, as well for me more than a job, bothersome stuff was a worry not would be able to have a wonderful ride again with my white swan every morning.
Everyday, gradually I was accumulating scattered courage of mine to dare to speak to her, however, all of no avail.

So, it was the last day of my job. Was wondering if I could see her or not on the very last day.
Phew!! she was in and for the first time she noticed me as I was in different get up and I saw her staring at me. Ankha judhyo and that's it sojo keto lajayera neeuriyo.
Then I saw her getting off at her stop which was one stop ahead of mine. I kept watching her going away somewhere in the blue.
I knew that I would never going to see her again. Still, I had no other option than letting her go.

After couple of days I left Texas and I got a new job, was in the new city, new state, taking new route, new bus but could never find anyone new like that old one from Texas.

oh girl! you must be kidding!!
you know what, I am a freaking fond of movies based on best selling novels.
Have watched Harry Potter franchise and Lord of the Rings series thrice, so far.
Didn't repeat watching Twilight as I was heart broken since the vampire girl cheated on the vampire and myself in the real life. :)
So, being inspired, I thought of writing something as good as JK Rowling's, Stephen King's stuff. {I told you I love day dreaming, love to lost in my own imagination. :)}
Two precious days of my wonderful weekend passed by and I was not able to produce a single line of my unwritten best selling novel. That's it,
I was like 'WTF' and I really felt like throwing my laptop away off the window the way 'Bradley Cooper' throws the novel he is reading, off the window in Silver Linings Playbook.

Since the very next day I was again normal :) as was no more in the imagination of creation of a best selling novel.
These days I am lost in some other imagination. For sure you ain't want to know it. :)

'Words' seems like a drama. I always feel asleep while watching drama but however, I do love and watch drama. In fact every genres. While watching 'Cast Away' I felt asleep several times. It took me many days to complete that movie. Once I was done, I liked the character 'Wilson' so much that I purchased a soccer(wilson) of mine though in the movie 'wilson' was volleyball. :)
But b'coz of my freaky friend i lost my wilson somewhere in the North Atlantic Ocean while visiting New Jersey.
I always wish i were the character of 'Emile Hirsch' from 'Into the Wild'.
Amby, you must have a sensational crush on Emile Hirsch. :) Right?

Yup, I am a movie freak too. However, regarding any books(novel or any other books), paltayera kei paragraph padne bitikkai nidauchu. Once, I started reading 'Cujo' from Stephen King.
Nidra lagera hairan. So, I watched movie with the same name based on the same Novel.

yaa, we have lots of similarities. (I am smiling : ) )
Don't know about you, but I am totally into animation. Simply love animated movies. Humble thanks to the creator of 'Up' and 'Spirited Away'. I love  'Hayako Miyazaki' movies.
They are simply amazing.
Okay, will watch 'Words' tonight :)

Nice one as always Ambrosia. Reminds me of my college days when I followed this girl from sundhara to sorhakhutte just because she was cute and saw her dancing inside the disco and not to forget it was raining. Didn't even got the number or nothing. Still makes me smile remembering of those things what I did when I was in my teen..

Huh!! No Emile Hirsch but Zac Afron. Hmm!!
superhero movies(Specially Marvel Entertainment) are amusing. Best to watch on IMAX or big screen. I never miss one.
BTW, Sojo keto is kind of a super hero too.. lol..
Why Chris Evan is a super hottie for girls? Don't know. He looks just ok bcoz he'd used some tranquilizer . :)
Leonardo is indeed a good actor. don't know why he'd not got academy so far. I started watching his film  since I first saw him on 'The Quick and the Dead'.

@karnali blues, that's interesting

I just like chris evans.....no such reason.... and Leo is just amazing.....The wolf of wall street didnt get the oscars for Leo but just coz he didnt get the award doesnt mean he is not a good actor.
I think Leo has grown a lot as an actor.

Leo has always been a good actor.
I was bit sure he would get the oscar from 'The wolf of wall street'. However, he didn't. Then I watched 'Dallas Buyers Club' when i was like hmm! Matthew McConaughey deserved the one.

i feel like all are your own stories and you're the main character.
So Obviously, these characters are meaningful for some specific reason.
What's that. Don't know.
