New York - August 23rd, 2014 - Miss Khusbu Mishra, from Ohio was crowned Miss Nepal US 2014 at the grand finale of the NRN Connect 4th Miss Nepal US beauty pageant held at Queens Theater in New York on August 23rd 2014. Along with the title of Miss Nepal US 2014, Khusbu won the title of Miss Culture and Tourism, won a $5,000 scholarship to continue her education, Appointed Youth Ambassador for NRNA ICC Youth ambassador by the President of NRNA Mr. Shesh Ghale and a round trip air fare to Nepal. The first runner-up was Miss Sushama Sharma from California who earned a $3000 scholarship. Similarly, Second runner-up honors, Miss Talent and a $2000 scholarship were awarded to Miss Sushma Adhikari from Massachusetts. 

Others sub-titles winners are;

Miss Personality - Pujan Paneru from Connecticut, Miss Discipline - Byakhya Lamichhaney from California, Miss Popular - Srijana Rai from California, Miss Photogenic - Sayal Shahi from California, Miss Nepal US Texas - Supriya Sharma, Miss Nepal US California - Kusma Kharel, Miss Nepal New York - Kabita Pahari. Congratulations to title & all sub-title winners!!!

The grand finale was inaugurated by His Excellency Ambassador Durga P. Bhattarai and President of NRNA ICC Shesh Ghale. The show was judged by famous personalities like Chief Judge Raveena Desraj Shrestha- multi award winner and one of the prominent figure in Nepal's Banking Industry, Myatee Martinez - International Model, Sunny Gill - Casting Director of Jacksonville Fashion Week, Gita Khatri - President of INLS HQ, Dr. Upendra L Karna - Advisor to the College of Engineering at the College of New Jersey, Sonam Lama - Owner of Himalayan Yak New York and Suraj Subba - Famous Movie Director of Nepal. Further, the title and subtitles announcement was done public directly after jury scores calculation by New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Biraj Rijal under direct supervisor of New York State Certified Attorney – Bashu Dev Phulara, Esq., Associate Attorney of Chhetry & Associates P.C. Grand Finale of Miss Nepal US 2014 was packed with entertainment including first ever US Stage Performance by Youtube Sensation Bhim Niroula, National Award winning Singer Hemanata Rana, Choreographer and Dancer Dharambir Lama, Singer Tenzin Dolma, and a special presentation by the amazing 7 Summit Women Team.

After 8 days of long training and workshop choreographed by famous Ramp Model and Choreographer Mr. Suresh Manandhar as well as Miss Nepal World 2011 Malina Joshi , the 14 finalists representing New York, California, Hawaii, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Connecticut, and Massachusetts selected through audition competed for the crown in NRN Connect 4th Miss Nepal US organized by Event Planet Inc, with support of E Planet Pvt. Ltd, Nepal and many local organizations. Well know Nepali Fashion Designer- Shama Banu was the official designer of Miss Nepal US 2014.
