How hard is it for a GC holder to bring his/her parents for a graduation ceremony ?

Being GC holder is irrelevant. If the counselors are convinced that his/her parents will return back, they will get visas. Of course, they'll need to meet financial requirements.

Thank you Riddle. I heard that it is hard for the GC holder's parents to get visa for graduation, for counselor might think they will not return.

That's an assumption made by a GC holder who had his/her parents' visa applications rejected. Similarly, you could end up meeting a student who might opine that its tougher for f-1 visa holders to invite their parents because s/he had his/her parents' applications rejected.

It's all subjective as everyone's case is different.

Besides, one could tell that you're a Permanent resident and you're already set to apply for their visas (if you haven't already). Maybe you should work on getting proper documentation.

Just like riddle said, they need to assure the counselor that parents will come back. so basically the parents need to be working or show some sort of document of business or something to prove that they have something to come back and resume.

I hope your parents are still working, or at least one of them.

best of luck!

or if they are retired, you can show proof of pension (if they receive).
