Obama has asked congress to fund 50,000 body cameras for the police. This is a victory for the protestors. Although the victory is not complete till all police force are required to wear cameras to make them more accountable. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-30281735

This is a victory for everybody. This is how we balance power. The only thing required now is that the video recording should be streamed or saved in public archives and cops shouldn't have the authority to modify/delete the content.
