Have you guys recently renewed your visa from Canada or Mexico? If you have, please share your experiences. Been here in the states for long time (~9 years) and had a chance to go back only once (2008)…that was during my undergraduate years. By the time I enrolled into the MS program, my visa expired and I did not have a courage to go to Canada, Mexico or Nepal.. thinking what if they deny it….Now here comes the time, where I must go and get married with a beautiful girl my parents have been looking for a long time…if not she will have to get married with somebody else, sounds like a hindi movie, but it's true my friends…( she waited for me enough already !!)… Even though I am in good academic position with full tuition waiver and PhD stipend. I am still dubious about the process and chances, if you guys could drop some comments that will be a huge boost for me…!!! Thank you all Happy New Year

Hi cluster,
I was in the same situation and last years i came to Nepal and got my visa renewed with no problem. If you have full scholarship and are in a grad program, you dont need to worry at all. Just go to nepal. You dont need to worry.

You should be good. I went home after 10 years. I didn't even had scholarships, told consular that it's pending and got away with visa for me and my wife.
