Title is wrong, the cop is doing the right thing by trying to control a combustible situation. Did our government declare the Bandh illegal and direct cops to stop it? If not then the cops can't do much until they see violence from each side.

Would be nice to post a pic of the idiot who is threatening others all over the social media calling him the villain. People like these are paid by leaders and are ruining our country, kudos to the citizens willing to confront them. Wish most of us had the same courage.

Even in other places citizens protesting against Nepal band got hurt. The police do not have clear idea if they need to protect the citizen or the protestors. They need to send more police so that they can effectively control such situations.

I applaud the citizens who came out risking their lives without any political motivations, but their group is not that big. More commoners should join them and end political bullying. More and more people are coming out to defy these khate politicians' bandas.
