Hello guys, Its been 4 days Luggage ko atto patto chaina.. Have you guys been this kind of situation before? Already filed a complain at Nepal airport but still no sign. Called the airlines several times, they say it has to be updated from TIA and they cannot do nothing from their side. All they could do is track online which we could do as well with the help of reference number. When searching online from the reference number online as well, there is the record for the claim but contact number, address part all is blank. Just a complain is registered for the missing baggage. (Air India)

If you guys have had the similar experience, were you guys able to receive the luggage after certain days. Heard 1 week is normal and airlines keep on looking for 21 days, after that it is considered lost.

So u lost ur luggage traveling back home? That's gonna suck so bad. Sorry bout that. I am not sure how things works back home but one of my friends luggage got lost and they couldn't find it till a month then they declared that it was lost. She got reimbursed of $1500. Idk how much stuff u had in ur luggage but I am pretty sure money would not make up for ur stuffs. Now I am scared that they can get lost on transit. Hope u hear from them.

I had similar bad experience with Etihad just recently. My travel agent gave me the deal but it came with the cost — worst service ever. After taking off and reaching to UAE airport, first, they tried to change my flight, which they did anyhow and attempted to put me on the flight the following day. I vigorously expressed my dissatisfaction. That schedule wasn't on itinerary and missed my flight debating with them and after words here and there, I was put on next flight flying same day rather than next day. Bit of a relief and now I get to Nepalese airport, and then after clearance, to the luggage carousel waiting for luggage. Didn't even realize that I spent two hours there waiting for my luggage, that dawn on me only when the guy told that there are no more luggage for the night. I was convinced it'll be the next day and after filling some forms I took off. Next day, it wasn't there, spent another 1-2 hours. Same story continued for 2 more days. Finally, they asked my phone number again verbally and promised to call me once my luggage comes over. By now, I lost hope, I began to stink because all my clothes were there and was actually heading to buy new clothes and shoes to begin my stay there. Just in the nick of time, I got call from them to pick up my luggage. Took me 3 days to get my luggage. I know how you feel, it's insane. Air India??? Well, I would begin praying..I hope you get yours sooner.

Just the update.. got my luggage yesterday, it took 2 weeks with constant visit to airport may be if that was not required but really upset about the lost luggage.. who have lost theirs would know how it feels.. but finally received it.. everything was good.. nothing lost..
