For people living in America, the news coverage of Baltimore is everywhere during prime time. This has made Nepal less important to major news channel. One dead Vs thousands dead in Nepal. What do you guys think?

The cars, buildings are on fire on its own city, looting is rampant, thugs have controlled the streets, i wouldn't blame CNN abt showing these on Primetime.

I hope I didn't come out wrong. When it happened in Haiti, the coverage was very extensive. Add that with relief charity concert and Hollywood stars pledging for the cause, the effective of that campaign was tremendous. Haiti aide collected a lot of exposure and money. What I am saying is the Baltimore news is dwarfing our exposure. Will there be a Hollywood star rising up for our cause, I guess not. Friends, don't get me wrong. The more exposure means more donation. We have a huge potential to accumulate more donation, had it not been the Baltimore news. If you think, we have enough help already for Nepal and we can manage on our own, then let say sorry to bring this up. But for those who can agree, we need George Clooney type (he did for Haiti) of celebrity to hype up the news. Had it not been the Baltimore news. Agree or
