Rest 0.04% uncertainty is there to keep DV holders happy in the meantime.

This is what was replied in AVVO just a moment ago regarding TPS for Nepal:

Yes, as confirmed few hours ago at the AILA 2015 Annual Conference on Immigration Law currently being held in Washington D.C., it is all but certain ("99.6%") that Nepal WILL be granted TPS pretty soon.

no doubt, Nepal got TPS!!! Yeah!!!!!!

But, I have received small disturbing news a week ago,, which I really don't want to share, and I really don't know how it could be, but source was really reliable in the past though..

There is a specific Guidelines for Nepal ..like valid visitor visa holders prior to April 25th are NOT eligible to Employment Authorization but they may use Immigration Relief...bla bla..

illegal and have job- you can get work permit
students- you can get work permit
visitor visa holder- immigration relief..which is you can stay here for certain time..BUT not work.

But again,I am not sure,I don't want to scare anyone here, but they(DHS) can change that rule in the final draft, its possible,

stay positive and lets see

I have been in the US since 2012, but I left for nepal for 3 weeks after the earthquake from May to visit family and make sure everything is fine. Can I apply for TPS as I left for some time ? Does that affect my continuous residence ? From my research physical presence usually applies after the day the tps is granted, but I don't know if that visit affects my continuous residence. Thanks for any info on this matter.

It is still not granted and no one knows if Nepal has something different rules than other TPS countries. So, it is not worth to worry before the actual measures are released.
