06/19/2015: White House OMB Approved Nepal TPS Designation Today

Today, the USCIS proposal to designate Nepal as a country of TPS program is approved by the OMB, completing the rule-making process. It thus remains a matter of publising the notice in the federal register and implemented by the USCIS. Considering the fact that the OMB approved this in less than one week indicates that this designation is taken as an important action for the Obama Administration and the USCIS is not likely to take too long to publish it in the federal register and implement it. Very good news for the Nepal nationals in the United States.
