Call for Application- Miss Nepal US 2015

Each year the Miss Nepal US pageant is known for adapting and bringing awareness regarding socio-cultural agendas. This year, enduring the emotions from the recent disaster that has scarred Nepal, Miss Nepal US is embracing a theme of “Rebuilding Nepal”. This year’s event will primarily be focused on charity for Nepal’s earthquake disaster relief in the hopes of recovering and rebuilding Nepal. Thus we would like to request all Nepalese women, age 19-29 and currently in USA, to participant in 5th Miss Nepal US event scheduled to be held in New York on August 20th to 22nd, 2015. Applications are now open and interested ones can apply electronically via our official website www.missnepalus.com by July 26th 2015.

Furthermore, in an effort to strengthen the Nepalese-American Youth relationship, to give opportunities to those who want to help Nepal, and/or have elaborately formulated relief effort concepts to support the Nepal earthquake victims, this year we are also opening our platform to the American females of all races, ages 19-29, where they will be competing for the exclusive sub-title of Miss Nepal US – Ambassador.

Keeping charity in mind, for this year’s event we are also waving the sponsorship and training fee for all participants. However each selected finalist will have to conduct fundraising campaign to support earthquake victims and Rebuild Nepal Project. Along with the most coveted crown, this year winners of both Miss Nepal US and Miss Nepal US-Ambassador title will get up to 10,000 USD matching founding to support her initiative dedicated to earthquake victims and/or Rebuild Nepal Project.

As this year’s event is more focused towards charity, funds transparency, and accountability; we are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with UNICEF United States Fund and Nepal Government’s PM Earthquake Relief Fund with the commitment of maximum utilization of all collected fund to support the earthquake victims and to contribute towards Rebuilding Nepal. Furthermore, this year’s event will be hosted by famous American media personality and celebrity Kiran Chetry and famous Nepali Bollywood Actress and Goodwill Ambassador of Nepal Government PM Fund for Disaster; Manisha Koirala will be gracing us with her presence at the Grand Finale of Miss Nepal US 2015.

Four consecutive years of success of the Miss Nepal US (A) pageant has undoubtedly motivated us to continue this saga. We are more than privileged to put our experience and skills together with required improvements as well as modification to come up with bigger and better event this year. Initiated and organized by Event Planet Inc., USA with support of E Planet Pvt., Ltd, Nepal and many local organizations in USA, Miss Nepal US (A) event is not just a beauty pageant, but also an avenue to promote Nepal's beauty, culture, significance and support causes on an international platform. 

The natural disaster that has recently rattled our motherland has been permeated into our hearts, our families, and our peace of mind. We have felt the aftershocks from thousands of miles away and we are committed to focus on `Rebuilding Nepal.’ Together we will help those that have lost everything and yet are resilient.  The shift in focus has delayed us more than we would have liked, however we are back on track to make the 5th edition of Miss Nepal US more significant. Thus, we look forward to everyone’s love, supports & participation to make this year event even, BIGGER, BETTER & MORE MEANINGFUL!
