I had bought the ticket from priceline and the airlines was emirates+(US-Dubai)+Fly Dubai(dubai-KTM). Return was also via same airlines. 2 days back, received email from priceline saying that return ticket got cancelled for that day so I have options of the following day. Thats options doesnt work for me so I said I want full refund. They kept on lingering me. Priceline says call emirates and emirates says call priceline. Today priceline told that the have requested for refund and its completely the discretion of airlines and most likely they will charge $300. Though I argue that its not my fault, looks like they gonna charge me. How can I resolve this situation? I just want full refund as it was not me who first tried to cancelled the ticket.

I had a similar situation , my outbound flight was delayed by 9 hours, I got the same answer you did , back and forth between the vendor and carrier , I ended up disputing my charge with my credit card company , airlines apparently did not respond to my credit card company within 60 days of my dispute , I got all of my money back.Slight issue however , I received partial refund from the airlines , full refund from the credit card as well, leaving me with more than what I had paid, it took few months for credit card to make it right . It worked for me , not sure if it is the wisest way to do it though.

Moral of the story - Don't buy ticket from kayak, Priceline and th se crap for being 25$ cheap. Airline is complex industry and these companies are not great companies to deal with . Search tickets with all these price comparision sites and go to direct airline web site and buy from there. It's usually 25-30 expense but worth it. Tickets brought from these sites are technically all non refundable no matter, if you read fine print some where. Mostly credit card have insurance for this. They may be able to give it back.

CC company ususally works in favour of its customers. This is an easy fix. Just dispute the amount. DO not dispute the whole amount, just the difference. Make sure to have all records; like date and time you called and name pf person you talked. you will need that sometimes.

Its been more than a month but I havent heard anything on my dispute request. Today again called priceline, they still saying that one option is to travel on the day they specified and other option they gonna charge $300 if I cancel. Is it justifiable? WTF are they talking about man? They cancelled the flight and they gonna charge me $300? k garne hola kasaile kei upaya dinchha ki?

If you purchased through your credit card, simply call the credit card and dispute the transaction. You will need written details, so save all the email communication from priceline and your flight. Try to email priceline and your airlines so that you have written communication from them too. I have disputed my transaction through bank in the past, and they are helpful. I am not sure if that is available for debit card's transaction, but check with them.
