No wonder!! The most affected area of andolan in tarai is Birgunj and parsa. Not a surprise!! Those who got citizenship just because they were born before 1991, the majority of these people who has no ties to Nepal resides in Birgunj suburbs and Parsa so much that even raithane madhesis don't recognize them who they are. We should thank Gririja Prachanda and Makune for selling nepali soul like candies in the market. Don't think I made this up , research! recent capture of Bangladeshis with nepali citizens speaks the volume. We will pay price for this in future for sure.

My friends in Birganj were well off, their parents were doctors. Their forefathers moved to Nepal and settled here working on government hospitals and their private clinics. We went to same schools and there was no such thing as pahadi madhises. We played cricket together & we got along. But these days all of sudden they have become very political asking Madhesi rights and rallying around "Jay Madhes" bashing the new constitution, comparing madhesis and pahadi and how pahadi are overpriviledged over madhesis. They are successful professionals & their Facebook profile pictures are black flag.
