I was trying to see if someone back home can pay the fees for me so that I can set up an appointment from here (US, F-1 renewal) for 1-2 days after I reach Nepal. The investment bank branch I contacted said payments can be made only in person or if a family member shows my original passport. I can't send my original passport since I'm going home in less than 3 weeks. There's also an option of paying online via investment bank's online service but I'm not sure if the applicant can use a family member's account for that. I don't have an account with them, but my father does.

Has anyone been able to set up an appointment fora VISA interview at Ktm embassy recently while they were still in the US? How did you do it? Please share your experience/suggestions. TIA!
