Hello all,
I am currently in H-1B visa and waiting for my I-485 to be approved through my husband who is also in H-1B visa. We are planning to travel to Nepal on Feb end and already have AP. We are not planning to use AP as we have valid visa, but we still got just in case. We are now very worried to travel out of States during this time of Trump Travel ban though we understand it only applies for 7 stated countries.

Pls share if anyone has recent experience of travel out and coming into the country. Any suggestions will be very helpful.

Thanks!

I am also in the same boat. My lawyer said not to leave the US unless absolutely necessary. But I have already bought non refundable tickets 2 months ago. Just wondering if someone has recently travelled back to the US in h1b visa.

You dont need to worry about travelling to Nepal. I had couple of my friends who traveled on H-1 from Nepal after the Travel Ban was issued. NO ISSUES for them at the airport but be sure to take all the supporting documents like recent paystubs, Tax returns and letter from your employer. You will be fine.
