I have been using sajha for couple of years and never have I actually clicked on any of those annoying banners and bought something from these vendors. I think the way these ad spaces are laid out is very obstructive and annoying. All these banners cramped together just makes it distracting. I directly look into kurakani and ignore the rest.

Wondering the click rate on these banners per page visits. May be the advertisers are paying for no real gain? or may be they are getting some hits from Sajha hence the homepage seems to be filled with more and more advertisers everyday rather than actual content from users. In either case I think San should think about updating UX rather than living in the 90s with the obstructive UI.

I rarely visit sajha desktop version. if u use only forum use mobile version. Look like sajha has RTB code enabled thro some exchanges may be GoogleAd. I was searching cargurus for a used bmw but didn't contact dealer. Now I see ads of bmw deals from cargurus in most of sites including sajha.

Thanks guys for the input. I do use mobile site once in a while and it does have a little less clutter but my intention for this post was to see if any of the visitors ever look at those advertisements and if any of the advertisers are making any gain from Sajha. From the user experience perspective, it seems very obstructive hence I do not pay attention to them and was wondering what other users feel about it but user experience is probably not in San's priority. However I do see couple of users using mobile site which tells me for some users it indeed is annoying.

Sajha reminds me of walking in Thamel. You see all the colorful banners hanging everywhere but if you know where you want to go then you go do your thing.

I have used those ads for buying tickets and finding restaurants. I agree they look irritating though..
