Hello sajha.
I need a suggestion regarding which credit card should I apply for?
Currently I have discover credit card with 705 fico score and a BOA debit card. I want to apply for new credit card which would have 0% Apr for a year and have low interest rate thenafter . And is it good idea to have more than one credit card .

There are a lot of credit cards you can apply but i suggest you get Citi Simplicity, which i believe has 21 month 0% APR and 0% APR 21 months for Balance transfer aswell. You can do Chase Slate too.

Where Citi is known for longest 0% for balance transfer (0% for 21 months), please note - purchases was not 0% , at least in my case & they tend to have higher APR afterward ( in the range of 20% even for excellent CC)
As for chase slate, it is also good for balance transfer, buy some time & pay off the debt. It gives you about 15 months for 0% I think, but they tend to give you smaller Credit line ( approx 5k even for excellent credit like 750+)

In my opinion, discover IT card is better ( after promo Apr around in 17 % range) & AMEX everyday blue ( 12% range) is best for your score if you 1) hate annual fee 2) decent cash back 3) doesn't travel, fly regulary - because there are better cards with milleage options.

AMEX is a clear winner for your category, send me private message if you want referral which will be win-win situation for both of us.
