F1 completed. Opt completed and now working on tps. Thinking of going back to school. Has anyone with similar situation got f1 status ? What is the process.

Talk to the international student advisor of the desired school, get new I-20 if they give you, and file for reinstatement or adjust the status. If out of status for more than six months then it’s over with the status .

It's more than 8 months my opt expired. Any chance getting f1 back. Any idea or anyone went through same situation? Please help.
