Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody would want to have a say on this issue (READ THE FOLLOWING TWO EMAILS FOR CONTEXT, STARTING WITH THE LATTER). The page where the article in question was found was linked from the front-page of the BBC News Online. You can get to that page here: - http://www.hinduhumanrights.org

If you agree with my email to them, then maybe you might care to drop them one, as well?

Good day!

Namaskar Deepak,

Thank you for offering HHR your correction.

We know that Nepal is 95 % Hindu. We also know that for at least the past decade that thousands of Nepalese are being butchered and that those butchered are Hindu people who do not support the Communist insurgency. If those Hindus were to renounce their Hindu faith and claim allegiance to Marxist doctrine then they would be welcomed by the Marxist terrorists who are fighting to convert the ONLY HINDU STATE in the world into another communist one.

Your reaction reminds us of the one we had at the last demonstration against the Bangladeshi governments implicit collusion in the genocide of indigenous Bangladeshi Hindu community .

Whilst we were demonstrating outside the embassy and calling on the Bangladeshi and British government to act ,one of the only THREE Bangladeshi Hindus who attended our demonstration objected to the fact that we were doing so saying that she was Bangladeshi and not Indian and that she loved Bangladesh and that it was not the Bangladeshi government but individuals who were carrying out unrelated attacks on individuals who happended to be Hindu.

This was in spite of all the horrific images on our placards and all the documented information we had on leaflets for distribution about the genocide of Bangladeshi Hindus.

Kind Regards

Hello,

I would like to draw your attention to: "...lets also not forget the
innocent Hindus who are being butchered and tortured in Bangladesh,
India (Jammu & Kashmir, North East), Nepal and Pakistan." on the main
news section (titled: Sacred Hindu symbolism on footwear) of your
homepage (http://www.hinduhumanrights.org).

Being a Nepali Hindu, I just wanted to point it out to you that Nepal is
about 95% Hindu nation and we've almost never had any communal
conflicts, and no Hindu (or anyone else) has been persecuted [as you've claimed]. We've had other political problems, which have resulted in the death of many, but that has nothing to do with the religious landscape of the country.

So for the sake of accuracy and credibility of the information you've
posted, I humbly suggest that you remove 'Nepal' from that sentence,
unless you have evidence to support your claim.

Thank you,
Deepak.

Correction: The datestamp on the original email should have been: Sunday, July 18, 2004 10:44 AM. I screwed it up while trying to align things to make it look pretty. Thanks to those who pointed it out.

First you have to work out on 95%. Second it is HBS. :)
