From: Nepali Times's Letter to Editors

Dear Baburam

After reading ýGun mený (#207) and the web exclusive photos in your online edition, I would like to address this letter to Maoist leaders Baburam and Prachanda. It is clear that your movement in Achham is getting closer to its goals. Your ýPeopleýs Liberation Armyý and ýPeopleýs Governmentý control the rural countryside in spite of the governmentýs assertions to the contrary. Now that you say you are moving to choke or capture the urban areas, your fellow Nepalis would like to know more about your vision for Nepal:

1. How do you aim to tackle inequality in social and political terms?
After all, your own organisational hierarchy seems un-representational of the Nepali social structure. CK Lal in the same issue ýThe middle Pathý (State of the State, #207) cites that both the Kirat Workersý Party and the Madhesi National Front disassociated themselves from your party due to internal non-acceptance.
2. How are you going to eradicate poverty? Are you planning to tax the rich, nationalise corporations or have worker/peasant communes? What is going to happen to private property of farmers, merchants and workers? How will development work be done without international aid?
3. How are you going to control the overpopulation problem?
Are we going to follow the Chinese One Child policy to solve this problem?
4. You advocate for a classless society, yet, stress that dictatorship of the proletariat and peasants is necessary for transformation of a society. In essence your ideology justifies the need for the Communist Partyýs political control over society. However, history is witness to the failures of this model in the Soviet Union, China, Cuba and N Korea, where the parties have themselves become a class unto themselves and sometimes even spawned dynasties.
5. Admit it, communism has failed or reformed itself. The Soviet Union has disintegrated. Maoýs China is now a showpiece of capitalism. Are you going to follow a more pragmatic political philosophy?
6. What happens to people who do not agree with your view point? Is there going to be a freedom of expression, press and basic rights granted to the people? Do you believe in democracy?
7. What happens to peoplesý religion and belief systems? There is no room for religion (ýopiate of the massesý) in your ideology. Can we still practice or not?
8. Right now you are on the opposing side, so it is easier for you to criticise and analyze the problems facing Nepal. If you become the rulers, you are going to have show results. How are you going to achieve thatýthrough the barrel of the gun or through democratic political persuasion? In other words, how are you going to provide good governance?
We have read or are already familiar with the Red Book, so please give us real answers. Who knows, if your agenda is sound, practical, and ýmato suhandoý many people like me and others may come to your fold.

SN Singh,
email

Further to darshankakas post and SN Singhs letter to the editor...
______________________________
Dear Baburam,
I and many of my friends and family are desperately waiting for answers to questions and concerns put forward by SN Singh. I am sure many of the sajhaites would also like to know the answers.

In addition, I too have a couple of questions...

1. How do you plan to stabalize the psycologically debubblized/destroyed masses (your militia as well as general public) once you become the rulers (if you ever do... that is)?
2. How do you intend to keep the politically fratured society (ex-maobadi, ex-police, ex-army, kangresi, communist etc.), like the mandales after the fall of the Panchayat, intact? Will we have another war then, again?

Convince us that you and your comrades are there for the good of the people and that you are capable. Then you will be backed by people wiho are not psychotics or forced.

I hope you read sajha posts too!

B.

Good questions...but I doubt Baburam will reply.
On the other hand, you coulda posed some of these
questions to our present-day inept government, who are
monkeys, as well. "Monkeys come and go but the organ
grinder stays the same" as some political analyst put it.
Such is the face of the governance of Nepal.

Answers to some of the posed questions (unless Baburam bothers
to answer them- ha ha) could be extrapolated from the past
experience of China - and by studying the Maoists' actions over the
years. Books and articles on the Maoist Insurgency have
come out and are still coming out.

Of course, the Maoist problem raging in Nepal is not as
simple as whatever the possible answers to your questions
may be. Well, I doubt if there is a single expert who can
answer them all to your heart's content, let alone Baburam.
The problem cuts across ethnicity, gender, historical neglect
and injustice, exploitation by the ruling and urban elites,
resource control, landlessness, serfdom, feudalism, exclusion,
discrimination, nepotism, corruption, etc. etc. etc.,
which is already more than a mouthful. Something had to
give, so it did. The problem is really a reflection of the
failure of the government, development sector, and all
concerned.

Now we have terrorists (Maoists) in the countryside and
state terrorism (trigger happy security forces) across
Nepal. Both are terrorists.

Know them for what they are: fighting machines
even though they may look like your brothers and sisters.
Both are brainwashed, and ready to serve their masters.
They are pawns in the power game. Increasingly, they
resemble each other in ferocity, human rights be damned.

I'm surprised that you are already taking sides. I am
not. The truth is: one is as likely to be finished off
by an Army bullet as by a Maoist bullet for no reason. They
say over 10,000 have been killed so far. I am wondering how
many of them were actually innocent. If you thought one system
is good the other bad or one better than the other in practice,
well think again. I for one think they are one and the same
- different in ideologies - but similar in actions. They
are the Tweedeldee and Tweedeldum -evil twins - of our
Himalayan country.

As systems I hate them both, as individuals I have equal
empathy for both the Army and the Maoist personnel. No
sympathy for their masters. Look closely at the army and
the Maoists: both have the same kind of farmer's face. But
who turned them both from tilling machines into killing
machines and for what reason? The executioner's face is
always well hidden.

Not more than a handful of puppet masters decide the fate
of millions of puppets that are indeed us. Whither goes
the democracy that I keep hearing about.

I could go on writing but soon my words would turn into a
meaningless ring.

I want to repeat again here:

Maoists have to really think for whom they are carrying out this revolution.

Whoever fights with the monsters should see to it that in the process they do not themselves become monsters. (Nietzsche).

But that's exactly what's happening with Maoists in Nepal. And with the Royal Army and other politicians as well.

I heard that Baburam Bahhtarai's phd thesis contained only classic references cited and failed to take into consideration the modern times development in the world.

nO_wAy jee:

Indeed Baburam reads or he is informed about this. They are great strategists.. not to forget about that. As such, they have to monitor the opinions of people from different corners. So sajha must be in their list for monitoring as well. Remember that they maintain their own website regularly.. so it is obvious those guys are quite good at internet stuff.

Also, there are so many cadres of Maoists studying or pretending to be studying in European countries, even USA and Canada. Each of these buggers have their alias names as do all these Maoists such as Badal, Kiran, so on. They use such name to email each other outside Nepal in the foreign soils. So all these Maoists studetns in forieng lands must be reading sajha. So be careful with these guys while you interact with them. Probably you can figure these guys associated with Maoists in Nepal while chatting with them.

All such guys in forieng lands are waiting (dreaming) the time when Maoists will rule Nepal.. and as they are opportunists, they expect to grab some kind of position later in those days.

We should rather ask these Maoists, Baburam , Prachanda and so on to go for Meditation courses. Let's make it a requirement fro every politician.

I liked the article appeared in "Expression" section by Mr. Ojha. Specially the last paragraph. There was hardly any impact due to the so called blockade in Kathmandu. If they ever try to set up the barricade .. just try so.. In such case.. I don't think people in Kathmandu will die silently. People will just break the blockade and drive by to feed their hungry children. Without those children, how can you then have the country in the future, on whom you will rule upon? Bring indians to Nepal and rule upon them?

The enraged Maoists could further try to cripple the life of innocent people but they should realize the bitter fact that once the entire nation stands against them, it will be too late for them even to repent.

okie i would like to speak on the behalf of comrade Baburam. I was extremly happy to receive the letter from mr. editor and mr. dash. I think u kinda guys are great when it comes to black and white. I myself standing here trying to think about the nepalese coming youth.
Have i made a mistake by handing guns of youth?
Have i making nepal into another somalia and african civil war place?
How many families is going to lost it identity at the end of the war?
Arent we upto the fraction of combodia during the reign of khemer rouge?
How we going to conviece the nation to act normal?
Have i made mistake by not creating hitlist of nepalese leader Like girija, madav Etc?
Okie, if i am making bomb why should'nt i use some gel stuff and blow the whole parlament rather than small socket bomb.

Man for me U guys are not moabadi. If u want to do something do big. blowing the window and parkahal is not gonna make nepal cuba. Get some going. When moa went for the meeting with central goverment in china. He already had his big army, own kidnapped plane and own jeep. What have u achieved moa so far?

These maobadis are khaobadis.. I heard that they are working like servants to RIM. They totally destroyed peace in Nepal... I am just imagineing, if Baburam wants to come out in the public in front of janata of Nepalese, in my opinion, the victims will take revenge on him. These netas of Maoists are so afraid to come out in public and have peace barta... so it's like they are doing suicidal path. All the time hiding.. they know if they come out these netas will be killed by the public. Probably that's why netas of mao are not comign out for peace talk. Ithink they will never come out coz they are so afraid now.

Yes, these Maoists netas are the agents of RIMS. RIMS is controled by people from Europe and US. But they are doing nothing there in US. Rather they are using Prachanda and Baburam and his chamches to ruin the peaceful Nepal. In turn, these faggots are doing Shoshan upon the Sojasajha janata at the villages and mountians. There goes the class difference within their gang.

Dear(not) Baburam:

So have you got the statement from RIMS to be released as Maoists (Nepal)'s version of statement regarding the recent barbaric killing of 12 Nepalese in Iraq.

You guys must be happy, right? You do not have to kill your brothers yourselves, but the terrorists in foreign soil did it for you. Certainly you think can benefit fromthis new outcome.

F*** you.

Check this one:

Basically the statement of Maoists talked about the same thing as did the Terrorist group who killed 12 Nepalese. So at the time being, consider that

the iraqi terrorists statment = that of Maoists
Therefore, terrorists = Maoist.

Hence PROVED.
FU***ck you Dear(not) Baburam, Prachande. Way Hard OK?
