Hey moneyminded- r u from Boston??- I heard this story sometime ago and I thought it was one of my cousin's cooked GUFF...... Looks like this story is old and people have heard about this or my cousin has been telling this story in the parties :-)))

According to him, after Lord Shiva gave Bardan to the so called Muslim man, Muslim man asked Shiva to wait until he comes back fetching water and left Shiva inside locked. Shiva being Bholenath couldn't leave because he had given a word to the man that he will wait for the man. According to my cousin, there still is a small house in MECCA where Siva Linga is locked inside and story is if any pure and true Hindu goes with Ganga Jal, Shiva will be freed. To visit this site one has to eat beef before entering the house so this way Muslim cleric will make sure you are not Hindu or even you are, after eating beef, you will no longer be pure so you can help Shiva free.....LOL :-))
