Crown Prince Paras and Princess Himani visited Hanumandhoka durbar complex in the capital Saturday afternoon.
This is the first public appearance by members of the royal family after the curfew was imposed in the capital, Kathmandu, on Wednesday (September 1).
Life in Kathmandu and Lalitpur seemed to be returning to normalcy Saturday as curfew had been relaxed for eight hours during the day. Curfew was again relaxed for two hours (between 17:00 hours and 19:00 hours) in the evening.
Authorities said the curfew would be relaxed gradually after assessing the security situation in the capital valley. There have been no reports of violence over the last four days when the curfew was relaxed in the morning and evening for the convenience of general public.
