Yes, It's worth watching. You will know the fact in rural and highly Maoists affectted districts like Rolpa, Rukum & Achham districts. Tears wil come through your eyes. Manage a hangerchief or tissues before starting to watch it. ! Do not watch it before you are leaving for a job beacuse it will make your wholeday dark... "Machi**e, Bachnu Marnu Baraabar Chha yahaaa!"

hey swaati, i had heard that quote before... it's so powerful, but also really frightening that a young boy can have so much anger and hatred in him. anyway, i think i might be able to get a copy of "the killing terraces" from a local university. i'll double check their library, but i think they have it. if not, i'll let you know. la, thanks!

Maadi chaur Village,we met this 70 yrs old woman. She is forced do all the house work by herself, not that she have noone to help her. She gave birth to 6 children 5 of them died in the infancy the one alive is in rolpa jail. while in his sleep he was taken by police beating him unconsiously. that happen 5 yrs ago(remind you this docu was made in 2001). We went to rolpa jail and talk to her son.He says he don't know what his crime is. He was forced to sign on papers with gun in his head. P.S. its note worthy that this docu was made in 2001 he was jailed 5 yrs ago. it shows it happened during Girijas' goverment. This shows he was cracking down his opponent when he was unable to satify ppl by his work performance. He mis-used his power to crackdown to ppl who oppose his ideas. This is a classic example of misusing of power.

We met this 2 orphan kids at Khalanga Bazaar. Their father Lal Bahadur pun CPN(UML) member was slained by maoist accusing himof spying. Since his abduction and subsequent slaying his family has been through tragedy one after another. This kids and their grandmoter are living in public shelter in Khalanga. Their land was taken by maoist. Since insurgents start living in their house, it was burnt by police later. when talked to his (mr.L.B. pun) mother she says she tried to commits sucide after her sons' death but seeing her two grandchildren she cannot do that either. we are caught in middle she says. Regardless who dies each death represent death in each family. peace for nepal
