During Rana regime, Ganeshman used to play a vital role as a Kathmandu
Bashi. So, in night time he used to be very active kangressi and when
night ends, he used to return to his old house and have normal life.
He did not have formal education and he was weak in English. So,
when peoples inquired about him in day time, he used his funny
english: I am back to Mangalman. Like Maoists today have
some nick names, he had hide himself in day. Then, it became
a nice phrase to mean that someone has returned to his
real day time life, especially, those who have double life.
This is based on what I heard as a kid. I don't whether its
right or wrong, but, it surely honors Ganeshman, who
without having formal education, rised to top in NC and
was iron man and was the prime force to make dreams
come true in 2046. I don't think that anyone should feel
offended even if we say that was told by Ganeshman.
The inner meaning of this phrase really gives the picture
of reality when some good or bad both kinds of people return to
their normal public life.
