After finishing his shooting for MIL-3 Tom Cruise will be climbing Mt. everest in the end of december this month. Will he be the real hero in the Himalayas too as he does in movies? Will he make it won't? Any view......

Agree with sense. With the money he can spend, he can get his arse carried up to the summit by our Sherpas.

For Nepali Citizen Permit shouldn't be costly at all. However, I wouldn't attempt climbing Everest without any climbing other smaller Peaks first.

I am doing a Everest Region Trek in mid April, might make it to the base camp or just go to Kalapathar. However, my co-worker is an avid climber, he's climbed 5 peaks already and is doing Everest in 2006. He had asked me to accompany him and his buddy to the basecamp but I am already going there in 05. I can't wait. Ask whoever has done treking to the mountains and undoubtedly they'll say its the best time of their life. Everyone should at least do once in their life time.

Now why would anybody wish death upon anyone?

If Tom Cruise wants to climb Mt. Everest, whether on his own or with the help of his NEPALI employees on this venture, more power to him. This could be one big PR opportunity for Nepal's tourism industry.

yes, this does have potential to boost nepal's tourist industry a bit. and let's hope that's exactly what it does. otherwise, what does it matter that a hollywood celebrity is trying to climb sagarmatha? whoever posted he can't beat mother nature is right on.

and bedrock, i feel like such a moron, but i can't figure out the sign your sano sathi is holding. "hm" bhaneko ke ho? hate monger, hit man, hello mongolia, he's mine, hold me, hot mama....? anyone else have some possibilities? la, post gara ta.....

Lau, Bajji thokne... hehe.

Where so many others have done it, why can't Tom Cruise do it? eh... He is pretty atheletic and he is a climber. This is not the first time he is going to Nepal to climb. eh... I've read his interview sometime ago when he mentioned that he and his then-wife Nicole were going to Nepal for the climbing after they were done with the shooting of "Eyes wide shut". He even said that he frequently goes to Nepal for climbing.... Now, don't ask me what he climbs. eh. To get the proper answer, u might wanna contact Tom Cruise re kyaa. Before it was all hush-hush affair, this time, it's more public. Thats the only difference. It's not whether he will succeed or not. What matters the most is he tried.

hehe.

Tehi ta bhaneko....First nepali ko problem, ego, greed, no patience, no vision. MUla hare Us gaye pani tehi dhidho khane budi laucha. I can point out 70 out 100 who cant even speak good english despite leaving in us for years. If tom dai wants to then let him...if the money coming from there helps to go solukhumbu and bring fame to nepal then why not. Second, tom is very kind hearted guy ......after seeing all those things he will for sure set up charity for nepal and donate money. It is great news. He will take some our sherpa back to US. He may even think about making movie on everest. Finally, he is great dedicated actor. He spend years in japan just to learn about samurai, japanese and sword fight. He is good climber too

ke bha ko kta haru ko buddi

67 barsa ko budi le mount everse chadna sakacha ...bhane .....anyway our sherpa bro has led a trail there so it is going to be easy

plus i am also planing to climb mount everst and to be first chettri ko choro to climb sagarmatha

Glad that Tom cruise sherpa's gonna head off towards mt everest soon. Even though if he won't make it up it will definetely promote Nepal's tourisim and probably the adventure will inspire other his fans and friends to give a try too which will definetely help boost Nepal's economy in a way or a two.

Yea and he may end up making movie about Mt. everest or about those tigers of mountains "SHERPAS"
I wish him a luck.
