Two of my intellectual heroes (not that, I hasten to add, I read and understand everything they write. But it's fair to say enough to say that whatever I have read
and understood of their writings, I have been greeatly influenced by their work)
have recently started a joint blog on the Net.
Richard Posner, a Judge and a lecturer at the University of Chicago, pretty much made law-and-economics a force to reckon with within the Americal legal profession.
Gary Becker, a Nobel Laureate at the U of Chicago, extended the power the
economic reasoning/analysis to better undertand topics such as family, crime,
marriage and much else besides.
It's really gratifying to see people such top-drawer credentials posting their opinions
on the Internet just like we, people with not-so-stellar credentials, do.
