Nawalparasi villagers beat five Maoists to death

Five Maoists including a section commander were killed in separate incidents of retaliation by villagers in Nawalparasi district in the last 24 hours, reports Wednesday said.

Villagers of Suryapura beat four Maoists to death when the rebels tried to abduct a local man Wednesday morning. The dead have been identified as Bhola Choudhari, Laxmi Khanal, Bhim Harijan and Manoj Harijan. Hundreds of locals took the Maoists under control and beat them to death.

The villagers, according to reports, claimed that they resorted to such an action in reaction to growing Maoist atrocities in the village.

In a similar incident in Paklihawa of the same district Tuesday night, a Maoist section commander, Ramesh Choudhary, was beaten to death by the villagers, reports said. The villagers also took a woman Maoist under control and hand her over to the police.

It is sad to hear that people are taking the cover and handling the law by themselves..but again if the freaking government can't protect them the fundamental right of living..they should come to these extremeties...! Hopefully maoist start seeing the limit of their so called "shakti"! Now is the time for the parties and king to speak up! Show what they think of these recent man handling by local villagers!

I am happy.... atleast dormant nepali janta are waking up.. to die helplessly is a shame but to die fighting for injustice and what you believe is no shame.... so even if some of these people will be killed by Maobadi.... We as a nepali should be proud of them for standing up .....they should be treated as martyrs fo our country.

and as for parties and their leaders we don't need them.. they are all wussies after that chair of PM.. it is like musical chairs.... how can uneducated suckers rule a country,.... a sukumbashi wants to be home minister..... 7 class fail wants to be education minister... slc fail keeps on fighting to be the PM again and again.... we dont need them to speak... I am just waiting to hear the news that the people have started to beat the party leaders on the streets and villages of nepal for their lack of respect to the ordianary nepali people.
