If you are interested in IR and leadership and how the world will be in 2005 and beyond, Newsweek's Leadership issue is a must read. Articles from Mahubani, Brzezinski and others. You can read it online at :

Newsweek's been publishing good articles recently. Kissinger's article, published a month or two ago, was quite interesting too.

thanks for the articles.

once iraq and afganisthan stabilize, if they ever do, say in 3,4, 5 years? (what is your estimate?) - then i guess blair and bush will get all the credit for going in. and its unfortunate that no one is gonna remember how many people died, specially iraqis and afghanis. does the end justify the means?

if these men will be idolized in the future, it will be at a time when thier ideals will be most needed in order to serve those who are in power at that future moment. for example, there is already talk that reagan will be the next face on the dollar bill. (what did he do again?- he definately made some people very rich- the very same people who finance the current leaders) .

so yea propoganda can turn a joker into a hero and vice versa.
