Pahila sabai lai jadau bata suru garau,
How NOC works ??????????????
Before IOC was privatised, NOC used to purchase petroleum products from Arab and bring it to Calcutta port, and to reduce te storage and transportation cost, which is huge, used to sell it to IOC at Calcutta port and used to purchase it again from IOC. Now after IOC is privatised, IOC didn't accept this process and after that NOC has be buying petroleum products directly from IOC. Here we have to remember that IOC now is a private intity, who sets his own price to sell it to NOC. Since we don't have sea port and the refinery, we don't have any other choice than to buy it from IOC or Relaince. Relaince won't sell to us. NOC now has no other choice than to buy it from IOC. NOC purchases petroleum products from IOC and provides it to the Nepalese market. As we all know, petroleum products price are set by OPEC, where even USA cannot control the price. The petroleum product's price is hikig every where in the world. Even nepalese students know this. If the price goes up in the world market, it definately would go up in the nepalese market as well, which should have gone up long before. This is pure business and economy.
I am explaining this just in case if any one don't know about it.

Now in this situation, should student leaders, who are more educated than our leaders, should follow the decision made by the leaders or they should use their own brain. This is the globalization era guys, any thing happening in the globe affects our country and if its petroleum then it definately does. Nepalese students are not using their brain. NOC is in the verge of backrupty. What you gonna do if it cannot import petroleum products from India ? Pee in the gas tank ? I think nepalese students should be thinking before they do any thing like that. Its not our country's beureocratic decision, its a global price hike. Its not only what out country had done, it what every nation have to do and has been doing. If petroleum products is cheaper in nepal than in India then the consiqueces are every thing that's in boarder goes across the boarder and black marketing begins. Both IOC and NOC loses. I don't understand why cannot nepalese student understand this.

After all this what do you guys think ? Do we support in what Nepalese students are doing ?

NB : Sorry for the typos. I would love to explain more as per my knowledge, if any further explanation are required.

Jai Nepal
