Our last king Birendra, became popular, PRIMARILY becasue he did NOTHING for the people or country. Just sat and watched. Our current politicians are hungry for more power, wealth, are uneducated (99.999%), selfish, corrupted, self centered, inept, and the list goes on, who are INCAPABLE to solve the problem facing the Nation. Consider the irony, when the largest DEMOCRATIC party, congress, has a president, (elected) undemocratically, there by introducing democracy with euthanasia. Talk about, cat protecting milk. LOL.

Maoist?? hahahah are u kidding me? They are beyond any defination.simply put, they are inhuman.

And then there is Gyane. Not loved and popular as his brother, for his crooked past, doubtful personality, a prime thug himself, smuggler and also the father of infamous killer paras.

BUT, if we reallyyyyyyyyy THINK and analyze, this very Tyrant, is the only hope, if any, for the Nation. Unless maoist, comes to sense and remembers that they are Nepali and most importantly HUMANS (which i doubt), Gyane is, if not ceratin, the safest bet.

So let's us give him his share. And unite NOT for the Tyrant but for the Nation. Let us buy some time, to EARN peace, and from there on we can build some constructive actions to recover our Nation. Then we can discuss about the role a royalty could play if any, in Nepal. The need of the hour calls for patience and unity, not diversity of opinions and political leaning. If we don't realize this need, those days ain't far away, when Nepal would see foreign forces, coming into Nepal, to humiliate us by protecting (?) us from our own people. This is not just my figment of imagination, this is a most probable sitution, if we keep on arguing among ourselves.

So let's say, for NEPAL. I know it's not hard, after all, " Jata jau, jaha laga, jata sukai laijau malaiiiiiiiiiiiii.. yooo maan ta meroo Nepali hooooooooooooo".

Unity and peace,
IndisGuise:)

Dumping the rotten and corrupt politicians and officials and bringing the most suitable change has been an everflowing (evergoing) process since the begining of time.

The political change of 1990 would have had never been successful if people would have had been scared of being shot from "plane or something as described by ruina". May be just keping shut like many people "love" to do would not have contributed in bringing that change.

Unfortunately, after 1990 janatas put all the responsibilty on netaas and believed that the responsibility of janatas were over after the change.

who are jantas?

appox. 2 corod??

Who are netas?

Girija, Deuba, Thapa,

who is in greater amount, ??

Janta..

Then why blame only netas, it is very logical and easy to prove. It is us, who have stared at the television screen and done nothing for 14 yers..and it is us, who have given Enough Bribery...TALI EK HAT LE BAJDAINA, Sathi ho..

you cannot have corrupt netas, without having ppl that can corrupt. them, which are ofcourse Janta.

The very attidude of "why should I blabber...does my voice matter at all" or "my voice is just a bucket of water in an ocean". Well, it may be just a bucket full of water in an ocean but no matter what it's a "bucket full of water". That bucket full of water can make somebody run like hell for cover if splashed on somebody's body.

In the years following 1990 janatas never thought of electing good politicians but instead each individual was heavily involved in making sure that the party of his/her choice wins no matter how lousy the candidate who was representing the party of his/her choice.

ghar jawaii ji,
couldn't agree more on what u said before....but i just asked that question coz i was not sure to which jantas u were refering??and which power ??thats all...
i dont wanna judge those abt student who fought.its out of my judgement.
dumping rottens and corropted politician...........................................since begining of time.>
well i am saying the same thing potato=patato....spelling difference meaning same..
the political change.................................>
well ghar jawaii ji..let me make it clear here...i didn't mean to say its bad to fight for rights.and i dont say one who stays quite and remain silent are coward or scared.....i know people fight and they have to fight for change .. ..but sorry and sad to say i dont see any good changes ryt now??do u see??i dont see ........i can only see war, blood, grief, pain...one who fought whole life died for changes and changes that came was not prosporious....it brought more violence....

unfortunately after..............................................after the change.>

again i fully agree with that statement u said.ya ryt..whole truth.people (jantas)point netas and gyane and maoist ...but let me remind u again. everyone..every nepali is divided into 3 categories .either in category of politician/supporter,gyane/supporter,prachandra/supporter...soo i mean to say that every nepali thinks opposing party are bad and that makes them complain abt each other...if u are king's supporter u complain abt politician,if u are supporter of politician u complain abt gyanendra etc etc................
soo in conclusion...
i want peace and for this peace i want unity for this unity i want some patience...i dont think getting shot will bring change , destroying countries property will bring change, shouting for some stupid leader will make change.... ryt now its not abt power i favour . its PATIENCE which should get priority...
its not abt complain we need ryt now!!!its patience that nepali needs....

and let me say it again i didn't mean to offend u ...that was answer for the question u asked WHY BLAME GYANE,NETA,PRACHANDA ALL THE TIME?
answer is so simple coz every nepali is gyane, prachanda,or neta ryt now.

ruina:O)

Shame on u confused.
i guess u got the chance to get educated. turn back and look behind the remaining nepali jantas who are deprived of basic educational rights. they have been left in the dark with no schools, no electricity, no water supply, nothing. And u talk about news, it takes days for news papers to reach there, leave alone the internet access facility which you enjoy.
You still blame the jantas?
sayad bro desh ma aali ramro facility bhayko bhaya ali ali system ramro bhayako bhaya i guess no nepali would have gone abroad.
Nepal jati modernize bhayako teyo sabai janta ko mehaynat ley bhayako ho.
Teyo mehanat ma janta ko sath alikati pani goverment ley deyako bhay nepal ko yesto durdasa huney theyana.

sayad timi ktm ko hola, tesai ley timi lai taha chaina, nepal ma yesto district haru pani chan jaha euta motor bato pani chain.
aaba motor bato pani janta ley khaney ho key? na gareyko pani hoina, ktm ma dekheidaina janta huru ley bato khneyko, gau gau ma janta haru aafai khaneyka pani chan, tara gov ley teai motivation lai momentum denu saknu pani ta paryo.

news ma kailey desh bikash ko kura suneyko chau?, sadai julus, sadai beerod. what else.
janta lai bato deykhaunu pani ta paryo nee hoina Leaders haruley.
they give a dam.

GOOD POINT ghar jwain,

It is crore though.... not corod...but I support you. Time and again nepalese people have proved that they are nothing but a bunch of bhedas.....if we are beguiled by the politicians...it is us who should look out for the outcome....I cannot forget the stupid hritik roshan episode which froze the valley for almost 48 hours......and the invariable ranting of all impeaching "pamfa devi" who after her demise was regarded as the most beloved queen.

the very attitude of why should i blabber.................somebody's body...>
hmm ghar jamai ji that kind of brought smile in my face:O)
haha thanks for smile ...good to read though.
but sorry my voice is not any bucket of water ....its small to hear in big crowd ...unheared voice just brings noise and dont wanna make my sweet voice turn into noise;O)

in year from 1990s jantas.......................................>
:O)once again it fails me here.i dont know what was political condition of nepal when it was 1990s..and still not much interested in politics .so this makes me stop my blabber..this makes me weak to respond to ur logical political discussion. my knowledge about politics doesn't allow meh to be bucket full of water when it comes to political discussion.

:O)ruina.

Ruina

Well, every society in any country is divided into many factions and political beliefs and therefore please dont feel bad about Nepali society being fractured into three faction .

Every society goes through change every now and then when circumstances are ripe for change. It always brings about struggle and pain when particular system fails. The experience becomes even more painful when the biggest reason for the failure of that system is janata.

Janatas have the responsibility to "hire and fire" when needed but when janatas themselves get involved in "afnoo manche and afnoo party" culture it give any politicians an assurance that he will not be fired by "afnoo manche and afnoo party" if he becomes corrupted or rotten.

I agree with Ghar jwaii, and also with ruina ( how dare I disagree with thee;)?).
Nevertheless, let me add some of my thoughts and posers.

Ghar Jwaii and Confused,
Agreed we, the people are to be blamed, no doubt. But that does not take away responsibility/duty and additional oath those in power take or for that matter makes us believe for to SERVE the people and the Nation.

Yes, I am not taking away any responsibility the king had/has. I know he sits in the pinnacle of this 'you not me' blame game. Palace, politics and Maoist are three demons that robbed us, raped us, and made mockery of our Nation. And we the people, just sat and watched. Indeed we are ALSO to be blamed.

Of course, we the people have the power to "hire and fire" those corrupt/moral less leaders. But let's get real here, we have the power to ?hire? & ?fire? once in every five year, and for us Nepalese, we shall consider us fortunate if we get that sacred duty once in 10. And let us talk about choice. I assume you would agree that we are desperately SHORT OF CHOICE for decent, honest leader who thinks out of the box, has enough clout to make his/her voice heard and can ACTUALLY lead the country in the path of redemption.

Let us consider sports, or for that matter any corporation. It is almost always the leader, the captain/CEO who takes the perks and the ultimate praise or blame for the course of the team. Agreed that each individual, on their own plays a role. One has to. However, would I be wrong if I presume, the higher the power, the greater the responsibility. And confused, I would imagine you would remember yourself throwing this philosophy not too long ago, albeit for different yet parallel circumstances.

And consider the scenario with above 70% illiteracy rate in our nation. A poor, hungry, desperate, humble, hardworking and YES blind by faith, ((faith that they have on THEM)(political parties/leaders, King) people of our cursed Nation. And now enlighten me why the people shall not blame them. Nope, my friends, I know that doesn?t take away the responsibility of the likes of us, and neither does it take away from the less fortunate ones, but, if you will, shall I say those who we chose chouse us? Would we be so wrong to do that? The circumstances are more knottier than it seems.

I know the 'you not me' game does not do anything for us. But at least I am happy that the corrupted leaders are facing some force, never mind from 'another' tyrant. He too will have to face it, don?t worry, time is a great leveler. And ahhhhh the Maoist, perhaps even the hell ain't worthy for them, if one would ask me.

For now, we desperately need an honest, charismatic leader and we shall find one, for it?s longggg over due in our unfortunate country. And no, we do not need any offspring from these pathetic moral less leaders, after all, an apple doesn?t fall far from the tree. I know it is onerous, but happen it must.

Please understand, my expression is in no way to dissonance from your point of view, but rather to Solicit & tot some of my own.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And yes it's not that hard ruina, if at all, it's difficult ;)
And your sweet voice would be anything but noise to me. For me it shall be psalm:p
Ahhhhhhhhh... if only I shall be that fortunate.
And as, patato = potato
Thus, toto = tata, for now,

IndisGuise:)
