I see that everyone of you have your opinion about everything and most of us are just wasting our time discussing about what went wrong in the past and who is to be blamed. It's too late to discuss about all that Jazz. Those of you who are concern. why not write a line suggesting, what can be done now to make things better? How can we stop maobadi to attempt more murders? What would you suggest king or whoever is in power if he were to read this thread? You never know...I heard Ganendra often enjoys chatting on Nepalese websites. your suggestion might click him and who knows...that might change Nepal and Nepalese forever. Take a chance.

Zara ji

thanks for the NEW THREAD,

I am not sure what will be my suggestion, but i am more confused now than ever.. came here to write some points and give the suggestion but...

at this present context, we have to choose one of the following,

1. GIVE ME BLOOD, I WILL GIVE YOU FREEDOM

2. GIVE ME FREEDOM, I WILL GIVE YOU PEACE

we gave our blood for democracy and we gave freedom for peace as well. But looking at this present context, Most of the Nepalese wants to live in PEACE, may be they are ready to sacrifice their feedom to speech or freedom to express their views. But I am not supporter of autocracy as well....at present context, i remember a quote from JJ RUSHO " MAN IS A BORN FREE ANIMAL, BUT EVERYWHERE HE GOES, HE IS IN CHAIN" may be analysing the present context, we are looking for the peace on the other hand providing that, the state will not use the excess force to surpress the voice of the innocent people and once the peace will restore, democracy will be restore in the country.

PEACE

Kaleketo you have got a good point. but as far as sacrificing our blood goes, we sure did give out lotta blood but for whom?? From last 14 years all we were seeing is the blood that we sacrificed was not for us, but for those corrupt, power hungry political leaders who didn't do anything in welfare beside fighting with eachother and filling their own pocket. I hope we dont' have to sacrifice blood nomore this time and the system would work towards the good building of our people. Had we had good leaders, nepal would have become a good wonderland where everyoen would love to come and enjoy the beauty of the nature, but yeah there is no point crying for past.

Here is my advice:

-Modify the "afno gaun afai banau" program, repackage it and introduce in each of the VDCs nationwide

-Clean up the administration, introduce efficiency, be more customer oriented, seek inputs from people, punish those kaam chor chair warmer karmacharis, root out the corruption from all offices (hardly any work gets done in a government adda without a ghush or without an afno manchhe)

-Assess the needs of karmacharis in the bureaucracy (there are way more employees than needed), train/motive the karmacharis at all levels, modernize bureaucracy/introduce technology, change the system from BS to Gregorian calendar to be at par with the world; give a golden handshake to those who are redundant and non-productive

-Now is the time to punish those who got the government job (civil, police, army, teachers, and corporations) with a fake academic certificate. Dan Bahadur Shahi, now the home minister, who is a former secretary at the Public Service Commission Secretary, had announced that there are 50,000 government employees with faked academic certificates.

-Arrange a public trial of those leaders who have earned wealth beyond their known source (this should include the money they spent in sending their kids to America and other countries)

-Keep the cities clean. Keep the international airport clean. Impose fine on those who litter, but do keep the dust bins. Liquidate the national shame carrier RNAC, privatise it.

-Pata kasou those who have not paid the loans from the government banks.

Since you said the King G reads it, I was going on and on but I think it is enough for now. I hope he does.

My advice to Ganendra would be: If you cannot take control of your son, send him to Maoist.

The best suggestion to the King would to give nepali with a prototype democratic government Where there is open market, trade, no corruption, efficient bureaucracy, a respected human right and a stronger CIAA.

To get all those , nepali janatas have to work to get those. Ganendra is not some sort of magician who would pull those stuff from the hat and give them to Nepali Janatas.

Have Americans asked Bush to get this ..this ..this and that....?

Them my suggession to him Majesty is break down them Social inequality. Them only one class of peopal ruling and messin with da rest of da Nepal. Them only peopal with same same face and same same idealogies and intelligence.

Lets them bring some change. Why everywhere in them Offices them same same face peopal?

Why not them give chanase to peopal who them climb mountains, work them fields. Gather them Honey, Bring home them sheep, Fell them Trees. Die in foreign land and Protect da country. Send more money back home.

Bring them end to Nepotism. Too many biraders and sisters getting them contracts and big big chairs.

Root of them all evil in them Kingdom is them Nepotism. Them peopal!

Here are some prophetic words of a writer (forgot his name):

NO ONE CAN STOP A THING WHOOSE TIME HAS COME.

The times of royals has gone.
a new dawn is coming to Nepal.
Nepal is going to be the lighthouse for the whole of south asia.
All this will happen when the Feudal Monarchy finally overthrown

Of course for many of you, the KIng may look different from the monarchy he represents !!!

Wherever Kings have tried to take the peoples' right, they were wiped out without any trace - the history is the proof. So, my advice to him is to be aware about this as there is no more chance at all now. If he really wanted peace rather than power, he should have united with all those who were opposing Maoists and worked with them truly. But his EGO and PRIDE let him commit a grave mistake. I'm sure about that.

I do not have any vision to Parash (Prince of Nepal)

But Gayanendra (King of Nepal) can live well and he can do lot of things like:

Arrest and put jail to all corrupted leaders and seize their property. Nobody, has gutts to do protest him. Even he kill protester nobody oppose to Gayanendra.

You talk and write oppose him on online, if you come to Nepal this time.... You live like mouse and dog. You do not have gutts to oppose him.

I am telling you people.......
