The following link of kantipuronline says the telephone line is dead in kathmandu from friday morning....but would possibly restore by the evening...let's hope that!!!

bro-i just wrote that in another thread "Prajatantra Diwas"..actually incoming calls are being allowed.
Only outbound calls are restricted. meaning someone can not call from kathmandu. but someone can call to kathmandu.

yes today in ktm u can receive call but u cannot make one. that means only calls from outside ktm (or nepal, i dont know) are possible. so communication within valley is not possible. also since most of the internet connections are through dial-up connections, u cannot access internet.
