Two Indians- Azim Premji and Laxmi Mittal are ranked #58 and #62 in the Forbes Magazine list of world's richest person each worth 6.7 and 6.2 billion $$$. I am sorry but I didn't see anyone from Nepal. Do they have world's poorest person list?

Do they have world's poorest person list? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LOL... Incidentally, the world's poorest man who has never had any interest in capitalism is Oonabaji Kipkembunja of Ethopia. Oonabaji sold his family into slavery into order to set up a lettuce factory. However, when he bought a goat for companionship, it devoured his crop of three lettuces on 23 March this year, late at night. Mr Kipkembunja was then forced into devouring the goat. His possessions now stretch to two strips of goat meat and a shiny stone shaped like a carrot (although he doesn't know that, having never seen a carrot).

That is interesting. I used to think that Ethiopian Goat was the world's fastest animal. Not anymore. Oonabji ran faster, caught the goat and devoured him.

These people on Forbes list declare their assets and accounts (to some extent) and thats how we know how much they are worth, hence their ranking. I don't think rich nepalese ever declare the assets and we would never find out for sure. Why don't someone start the list of the richest nepali.

You're right Crishna. That's what I heard at first, I guess I looked at 2004 list. In any case, its amazing how Mittal leaped up from #62 to #3 is just amazing. I knew Indians were up there but not being the 3rd richest person in the world.
