harke, i was only in boulder for about 4-5 days. it was alright, but there were too many deadbeat hippies there. i enjoyed eating at himalayas restaurant a few times and spending time with my friend, of course. at one point, i was in a store in that main shopping plaza and i heard two little kids speaking nepali! i was so surprised- thinking "where am i?!?!" i hadn't realized how many nepalis were living in such a small town.... chatmandude, i've heard that too....and yeah, parts of nj are the armpit, but not the whole state. within nj, we also say newark is the armpit of nj!

Khoi, I found Boulder much better than Denver. Boulder has less people, cleaner, has those monastry, so peaceful. My frens are from Denver. I hear it gets real cold in winter, is that true? Dreamz05, hehe sorry we r supposed to help u find a place to relocate but insted end up talking amongst ourselves. Tell us what kind of place u looking for, maybe we can help!

"where am i?!?!" i hadn't realized how many nepalis were living in such a small town.... >>>>>>>>>> I am not sure with the exact number, but there are a lot, a hell lot of nepalese there. Its surprising to see those many people there in an expensive town like that. I am not into too much of Nepalese community stuffs so don't have much contact with nepalese living in colorado, but every party I go to, I see a different group nepalese. Not sure bout this but heard that colorado has the second largest nepalese community. I don't believe this, but who knows, may be. Khoi, I found Boulder much better than Denver. Boulder has less people, cleaner, has those monastry, so peaceful. My frens are from Denver. I hear it gets real cold in winter, is that true? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Yup. Boulder is much better than Denver. But also depends on ur perception. Denver is a big city, many things going around, much economic activities and cheaper than Boulder. Ali ali jaado ta huncha, denver ma, depends on what is real cold. Definately, texans will carry jacket even in later spring. For minnesotans springs are like summer. Yea it gets little colder in winter, with some snow. But nice place with 300 days of sunshine, no rain. summer and fall are more beautiful i guess.

Message to Meera and Wizkid. Because, the antachhari crossed the 300 mark, you guys better start a thread: antachhari- only Meera and Wizkid. And then only a winner can be decided. ANd do not repeat the same songs. Get on guys. Post the new thread and start your antachhari.

Hehe lol, newuser that's sweet of u to say that. In my 90 something post I had said that I will try to end that thread and then not play anthakshari for a month in the least. Have to keep up my words. But thanks anyway for the suggestion. PS: I thought I won, coz between wiz_kid and me, I was the last one to post ;) Anyways, back to the topic of relocation, want more help, holla back. Me the best in giving advice worst in putting it to practical use.

hey sapanaz05, had to bring this thread out of the archives just to tell you that i will not, in fact, be moving to mnpls....the school i had applied to contacted me yesterday....over 70 applicants for this position and i was one of the six that they had narrowed it down to....but alas, they offered the position to a woman with more teaching experience and who already lives in the area....haaterika! so, it seems i may stay in the northeast after all....eh poonte dai, get those momos ready, hai! bhok lagera aaunchhu ke!
