Bonding Our Community

I have seen our unity and differences in various aspect of our community. It is a very natural thing to have differences on our views and ideals. It is great to show our opinions and ideals in free and open society of America. One of the greatest things we enjoy here is our freedom and liberties. To be frank, without democracy there is no hope of free society and without free and just society there would not be any free mind for creativities and productivities that contributes to the greater benefit of human society.

Lately we observe various opinions regarding the political change in Nepal. A lot of us started to take a sideline either with the current authority or against with current authority. Each of us has our own understanding based on our knowledge, influence by our hereditary political ideology and media. I do not think majorities of population who lives in United States believe in authoritarian regime, however that does not mean to me any one who supports authoritarian regime is my enemy and I had to go wild against it or vice versa. The bottom line is we all want peace, socially justified and fair societies where each class of people can enjoy equally the freedom, liberty and happiness of life.

Our community is a very new, young and vibrant immigrant community. We are all granted for our civil liberties and freedom by the constitution of United States. Forefathers of United States and great leaders of this country build this great nation based on freedom and liberty. Our children and we are enjoying the same right each and every American enjoys. Thus it is a high time for us to bond together for the same cause every where in the world, for peace, justice and free societies. Let us forget our differences with ideology or partisan based on our birth country. Let us build our bond based on ideals of our adapted homeland. After all we do not want our children to loose these granted rights. Most importantly our next generations of siblings most likely stays here rather than in Nepal thus I believe it is very practical to think about based on our future where we are based. Let us bond in based on fundamental ideals of forefather of this country and values we carry from our roots not in based on current political division of Nepali politics.
