You're right Oys! Inzi and the boys are going to "murder" Ganguly and his fellow ludicrous so called batting wonders.

I just looked at India's scoreboard in the first one-dayers. Now why wasn't I at all surprised? Its Shehwag and Dravid again. They are the only bright side in this pathetic Indian showing. Ganguly, batted up the order, and a nice little first ball duck for him. Everything is going wrong for him at the moment, and I think they should hand the captaincy to Dravid now and sack him immediately. He hasn't at all performed in the last, don't know how many matches.

Inzamam, on the other hand, along with his Pakistani counterparts are rollicking with their last test victory. They will come out firing for the reply, and with grace, will take it away from India. Butt is looking in great form, century for him today will seal it.

Oys bro! howz about some nice 'beer and cricket' get together, to see Pakis hammer India?

...............In the searing afternoon heat of Kanpur, Afridi's carnage brought a downpour of sixes. The arc between midwicket and long-on received maximum attention as bowlers were left gasping, fielders hopeless and spectators expectant. Within three overs the total rocketed from nine to 55, the stunning part being that there was a maiden in between. Good-length balls outside off were swatted to the roof of the midwicket stand, anything full disappeared, anything short was pummelled and anything wide savaged. It couldn't be termed slogging, it wasn't calculated, and it certainly wasn't a fluke. Forces of nature are probably impossible to explain. ................

Breathtaking batting as the scorecard suggests.
How could I miss Afridi's onslaught this time?
3 sixers over long leg against Kumble must be terrific. The leggie might be seeing Afridi dancing in the wicket in his nightmares. Neverthe less Paki boys sign against the Indians whenever matters. The last one should be a crunch. 3/3 and the sign of improvement in bilateral realtions.

. I have been watching (live score) all the 3 tests and ODI till y'day. Y'day match was One Man Army match. I was enjoying each and every over till Afridi was on the crease. I could just imagine what if i have got chance to watch it live. Unlucky those who cud not watch. Cricket.org quotes "For 75 minutes, we didn't watch cricket, we watched Shahid Afridi toying with it. "

5th ODI looked like batting demonstration. I would say 4th ODI was more interesting as in one side, Tendulkar was asked to bowl the last over (good decision by Ganguly) and in another side, INZY was on the crease. Pak required 3 runs (?) in the 50th over.
49.5 overs gone, 1 ball remaining, just imagine the pressure on both striker and the bowler. Inzy did it with a FOUR !!!! Pak leveled the series 2-2.

Pak without Sami (of course!!! Akhtar) in y'day's match, Rana really damaged the top order batsmen taking crucial wickets of IN FORM Shehwag, Tendulkar and Dhoni. At one stage Ind were 26/3. Credit goes to Dravid and Kaif, cuz of whom Ind managed to set a target of 250 for Pak. History says the side chasing the target has won the match in Kanpur and so did it happen y'day.

Ganguly's career is declining, may be it will vanish soon. The question was "if Inzy can manage to make all the Indian batsmen out in a single day (5th day of the third test in B'lore), why Ganguly could not do it on the first test in Mohali : situation was Pak started the final day with 6 down, only 4 wickets needed to be taken" ???? His batting performance is worse from bad.

Ganguly is again left out for the final match in Delhi. Kumble has a 10 wickets taking record against Pak in late 90's. He might be among 11. Furthermore, Delhi's ground is smaller. The chances of piling up the huge score on the scoreboard is higher. The toss winner should go for the batting first.

The series is 3-2; Dravid et al. should work hard to level the series, however, Inzy side has gained lots of confidence and he is happy with his top order batsmen including bowlers. They are after winning the series. And after all, it's not only the final match but also there will be a presence of Musharaff.

Let's see "Dravid vs Inzy" on tomorrow's final match. Pak should not forget their last year's lazzajanak defeat on their home soil.

>>>> 3/3 and the sign of improvement in bilateral realtions.

hehe.. nice one. However, 4-2 will also indicated the sign of improvement in bilateral relation as India won the last year's series on Pak soil.

It was indeed a carnage, madness or the swat of the breathtaking swings of a sword that rocket propelled into the stands of the upper tear. Indians left helplessly rendered to some ordinary bowling that disappeared each time it was bowled. The first ten overs, yielding 100 runs. Before Afridi got out for a massacring 102, hitting 9 of them outside the boundary rope, he had by then all but settled and took the match right out of the grasp of the Indians on a pitch with little for the batting, and anythin in excess of 200 would have been a good total to defend. Pakistan needed a solid start and boy did they get one. It was a total manifestation of bludgeoining onslaught. Anything of such magnitude would have been enough to even boil down the best in the world.

As he had shown previously, with his little cameos here and there and giving Pakistan the breezy and brisk start they needed at the start of the innings. Something around the corner was definitely in there for his takings. He wasn't getting big scores, but he was doing all but what was needed by his captain, to give Pakistan the start they need. With an exquisite 43 of 23 or even 20 of 9 balls, pundits around the cricketing world were never expecting something of this turmoil again from him. But with this he has shown that he remains one of the most destructive batsman in world cricket. Even the breathtaking batting of Shehwag, or the maestros of Gilchrist are secondary to this prime young fellow when it comes to pinch-hitting. He doesn't slog, he hits through the line of the ball with exquisite hand-eye cordination and a powerful strength from his fore-arms, ensuring that the ball travels a mighty distance when its hit.

Rest of them just had to cruise-control to victory. Such is this batting genius, that he brings great excitement each time he comes out to be. Cricket needs someone like him to make it even more exciting and watchable for many people feeling boredom from slow over rates and long daunting hours. Wait till you watch Afridi, Shegwag or Gilchrist bat the opposition out of their way, and even test cricket bigots to a one-day format each day of its five days. This is what is needed and this is where the power-hitting comes into the action, where techniques becomes meaningless, basics are superlative and cricket becomes exciting.

Another Afridi blitz is always near the corner. He cannot settle, he cannot defend, but he can hit right through the line. He has been given the green light to take off right on the chip of his powerful soulders from the time Bob Woolmer came into the side. And Afridi has he shown again, shown tremendous bullying under pressure. He is the embodiment of the best of the best, and he remains an element of destruction. Inzamam, all but now realise that nothing is impossible and with some other power hitters in the side in the likes of Razzaq, Youhana, Malik and Akmal, and Inzi himself, for instance their win in ther third one-dayers even without the cameos of Afridi, remains one of their best chases in recent memory, fatastic 315 from India looked ordinary, when this bunch of exciting players come together.

Afridi's powerful heap over mid-wicket of a Zaheer Khan delivery became his 200th sixes in one-dayers, and there is plenty more to come, taking him right on top of the best striking rates in the world. His 4th one day hundred came at a crucial time for Pakistan and the Indians will have to come out with nothing short of total team strategy to break up withthis madness from the what they call, Pakistan's answer to Shehwag.

. Kalekrishna lost?

Pak has another fantastic inning setting a huge target of "THREE O FOUR". India's reply gets off to a stuttering start as Sehwag is caught by Afridi off Hasan for 21. Later, Tendulkar went back to pavilion contributing only 9. The worst thing is Dravid and Yuvraj Singh, both were run out in such a crucial final match.

Afridi, once again, smashes six fours and one six on his way to 44 off only 23 balls. Hats of to the skipper and S. Mallik for such a wonderful inning. Musharaff must be pleased by his boys performance.

No dout!! my pre-congratulation to Inzy and his team. India are, at present, 144/9.

Oh, END OF THE MATCH. Afridi took the last Indian wicket. India are now packed up in 144 in 36.6 overs.
Pakistan win by 159 runs!

Another comprehensive victory and a fantastic series win! Once again the Indian batting crumbled under pressure and folded up for just 144 runs.
Let's see who will be the Man of the SERIES?
AFRIDI ?
Inzamam?

.............Ashish Nehra to Afridi. Just outside off, swing and miss. Hmmm, Nehra must have thought, maybe that's the wrong line. Second ball, down leg, glanced for four. Third ball, on his hips, tucked away for four. Fourth ball, down leg again, glanced for four again. Fifth ball, short ball on middle stump, a high pull that looped up as if being sucked in by a cloud, and then fell on the fence for six. Hmm, Nehra must have thought, let me try something else. Last ball, outside off, slashed for four through point. Twenty-two off the over.

Nehra walked away, looking down at the ground. All this had happened before. Familiarity, in the case of Afridi, does not breed contempt; it breeds fear
