Just trying to pull this thread to the top. I need it too.
Shouldn't summer fares be cheaper than winter? I contacted peaceland they send me a quote which is just exactly the same like the winter fare. Which half of May is better to get a cheaper fare?
Thanks.

I have used Peaceland's services for my last three visits to Nepal. Their fares seem to be quiet competitive. It does not usually matter when in May you are traveling. Normally, airlines consider April and May as "shoulder season", and June-July as "high season", with higher fares for the latter two months. Fares seem to be the highest in August as well as from mid December to early January while they seem to be the lowest in Jan-Feb and Sep-Oct. Hope this helps.

Yes it does.Thanks.

But the problem is I havent found a single travel agency that would give me a cheaper fare than I paid during winter-December.

well i have used peaceland travels many times. it is good but it always want to put us in cathey Pacifis flight, which is the longest flight and i don't recommend it. Especially if you live in east cost.
