Compassion is the highest form of LOVE. But more and more people I have forgotten it. A rushing mind, that's what the current world admires can never live through hearts but through ego only.

Nowadays, a man of hearts can have difficult life because it is time to live with head rather than heart.

Rich are getting richer, the poor the poorer. Shame to our education and the idea of development. If you talk for the poor, you are communist, that's the idea we have in our head automatically.

Hey Paagal

I totally agree with you.

The Nepalese diaspora are equally responsible to improve the situation in Nepal.

Sorry to admit that the GENERAL Nepali Diaspora is equally indifferent about the situation in Nepal.

shame on these people.

hey Paagal

Your intention by posting here is to draw attentions of the Nepalese living abroad?

Good luck...

Those poor people die only once in Nepal
Nepalese in the foreign land die every momment.

Socially (ir)responsible.

'Those poor people die only once in Nepal
Nepalese in the foreign land die every momment. '

Well said sir.

What is mine here?

Far away from my country
I am in an alien land
For years, I have been here
giving my sweat, blood and tear

I wake up early in the day
and work hard throughout
pay tax to the treasury
as much as the natives do

I oblige to the rule of law
never made any irresponsible flaw
Not associated on any bogus
my own business is where I focus

It was this nation which pulled my hand
everything I do goes for this land
my money goes for their social welfare
their community and for their own care

still when I hear 'Asian' in public
And find a stare of hatred
all the anguish because I'm not white
I think here- nothing is mine

Although I poured everything here
this place could never be mine
No matter I have the status
I still think I'm an unwelcome guest
we have some nexus may be
but this place remains foreign to me.

socially responsible.

this is my five minutes at sajha:(how compasionate can i get?)

socially irresponsible: we die every few seonds...so true..first copuple of years is like a jungle safari..totally confused..by the time you set your sight on track..you're way too drained..enmotionally financially physically et al..but unlike nepal there's a miracle you can create here..if you really want to.hang in there..and you find yourself a place ..not to live..but to 'SELL" urself..if you have a good mouth and confidence you can..if you don't you drown in a bottle of budlight..So once you're grown enuf..have had negative balances in all credit cards, gfs, et al..then you learn to surf up..once surfing you need to set your sight in bigger things than a couple of gasstations/taxis/restaurants..was that the reason to study here..? NOpe.think again ..form strategies..read the war strategies..get focused get control..reach the goal..
and finally words on compassion: if brad pitt and angelina jolin can why can't i be compasiionate..
In other words unless you have what you want you can't be compassionate. For Paras and his wife..they have what they don't need already so compassion is something they wud consider as gifts rather than a resposnibiltiy...so lets not even get there..

There are ways of dying. Braves die only once and cowards die many times. I dont know how to categorize those die once every few seconds. I doubt if this puppy lives to be a dog.

Lets gulp couple of pints of beer, or countless pegs of whisky/rum etc or even wine, may be we will come up with compassions that too temporarily.

I am not an American yet but not a Nepali too.
