well guess m the youngest one of ya all coz it was good to see gbs ko purano purano pictures haru.... hmm m glad to see ya all still making gbs alive :) and well i have heard of lots of gbs-ers here in US n some more of mah frens will be joining it soon.... let's make it alive one more time... hey n do anyone of ya know if www.gbsmates.net is going to be working anytime soon.

Elaine welcome to the thread. While searching in google, I found those old pics. In the next thread you can find more pics ( old & new ). If you have any pics, please post them.

i don't really have pictures... well i thought we used to have GBSmates.net that used to keep us updated about ex gbs students , things about gbs and all the other thing. there is also another site i guess it's egbosa.org or something and also there is another one pokharacity.com and there is some forum on it but i have never tried it. anyway GBSers let's build up a looooooooonnnng thread.... ( which is meant to be really long)

Nakkali thanks for reviving the thread. Earlier there was one thread with 90 postings. It has a lot of beautiful pictures.

At present gbsmates is not working and egbosa is not active. There is school's site but for half an year its still the same.

GBS has been able to produce excellent results both in School Leaving Certificate (SLC) and Higher Secondary Board exams. It has been awarded the Birendra Regional Education Shield for 15 times so far for the best educational accomplishments in the Western Development Region. Moreover, the school was awarded the National Birendra Education Sheild in the year 2004 for the best SLC result in the whole country. Out 113 students who sat SLC exam, 66 students passed with distinction and the remaining 47 passed with a first division with 4 students on the SLC BOARD list.
According to the report on the evaluation of the Higher Cacn,n,riary Education in Nepal made by Hi_mal, a national journal of Nepal, GDS was ranked number one school in the country on the basis of 10+2 results over several years. Similarly, another national jo! rrna! of Nepal named Nepal has ranked GBS the second best school in the country in its report given in 2005.
