Two questions, Moneyminded: 1) What's wrong with wanting ganja legalized? Isn't he entitled to his opinion? To me, it's at least better than saying Nepal should be a Hindu state and actually enforcing it! 2) Are you sure that the journalist knows (or cares about) what's written on his t-shirt? I mean, how often people -- journalists at that -- actually go to Thamel thinking, "Oh I should buy a t-shirt that says blah blah..."?

What's wrong with wanting ganja legalized? Isn't he entitled to his opinion? To me, it's at least better than saying Nepal should be a Hindu state and actually enforcing it! MP jee, there is nothing wrong with that........infact i use to be hardcore smoker ke. I somked so much that oneday i decided to get out that drug. Today, i still smoke once in a blue moon. The fact is that when holland introduced it as legal...........the percentage of smoker went down by almost 25 %........so it is good Are you sure that the journalist knows (or cares about) what's written on his t-shirt? I mean, how often people -- journalists at that -- actually go to Thamel thinking, "Oh I should buy a t-shirt that says blah blah..."? You are rite there.........they dont care ........may be given by someone......or may be they didnot have any clothes to wear that day coz of laundary. My question is how can such a irresponsible act can be accepted............they are there for good cause and they are making small mistakes......they are fighting for big mistake made by goverment but look at them not looking at small mistake.......aint they suppose to be ideal of society for new generations. only question is do they look serious to you in anyways............................look at the expression on ppl face .......most of them they dont know what they want? so do u think this kind of ppl is good for setting moral for us...........just curosity hai

Sometimes I wonder, if taking to the streets is the only thing we learned from these past few years of ?democracy?.

Moneyminded bhaiya, kosailey present deyko hola ni. Comon you can't cast doubts about a person's potentials by something like a t-shirt. Haven't you seen people wearing the Playboy t-shirt? In any case I don't think smoking marijuana makes you any less of a person. Of course it depends on how often you smoke. If you smoke everyday then, maybe you have to cast some question marks but less regularly such as once a month is not gonna make much difference. Coming from a legalized place, it's really not a big deal really. There is a coffee shop 3 blocks from my apartment who are selling Kathmandu Hashish as thier special for the week.

People wear T-shirt with "Free Tibet" written on it in Nepal and around the world. The message on the T-shirt he is wearing is not even as contested issue as "Free Tibet" in Nepal and around the world. If you look at Canada. There is a totally registered legal political party (Marijuana Party of Canada) that runs in federal election just like any other political partes and the sole aimbition of that political party is to legalize GANJA in Canada. http://www.marijuanaparty.com
