http://www.unclerealestate.com/
http://www.nepalhomepage.com/yellowpages/yellowpages.php?ycatid=629 <- here you can go and get their details of agencies but most of them have no webites

you dont really wanna just contact them and buy a house even if they have pics in their website.

The best way is, in person talk with different realtor in kathmandu, or just drop an email to abt 9 to 10 realtors telling them what kind a house u r looking for, so by the time u get there you would have something to look at.

A friend of mine, who made an excellent house
in my neighbourhood wanted to sell his house.

He demands Rs 1 crore for his house, but if you
add my land 8 ana beside his house, you will look
like Arabpati (in Nepali rupees).

Do you want to try? The house was constructed
under a vetran architect. Its great house indeed.

He says because of Maoist atrocities around the
country, people are rushing to KTM and land
is getting expensive day by day. Rush now.

Send me an email.

Common now, if one is talking about a house in KTM and in the major part of the city then 1 crore is nothing to make a hue and cry about.
(Major pie in the city includes primarily : Darbarmarg, Thamel, Newroad and perhaps some other selected destinations)

However, in the suburbs, provided that the house is fancy and aru yeta uta 1 crore ta pari halcha ni. I reckon the prince has gone up for the cement, labor, itta, kath, dandi as it all has to be brought from birgunj, hetauda et all. For example, a bag of cement was 250 5 years ago bhane now it is 500 re.

Anyone interested to buy my house. In fact I have two. Yeuta Durbarmag ma cha where my slaves, the royal army is pahera daar and I have let gyane to live there. And arko Paras bhatuwa bascha Maharaj gunj ma. I am in agenerous mood aja rati. I would be happy with 2-3 RUPEES. What do ya say guys? Is that teh fair share for a single Nepali. Hamrai ghar ta ho ni tyo :). MAile market ma hale hai ta.

Aba mero matra sole property ta chaina :(. If my dad, mom and granny would sell some of theirs. Will post an ad here ;)

In jest,
IndisGuise:)

Sardarji:

If you are looking for a nice house with One ropani of land, I suggest you look at Budhanilkantha. It is amazing place with peace of mind. Transportation is abundant and plentiful of water and excellent cool weather. The community is growing. I think you have to consider everything while buying property in Ktm. I also like Budhanilkantha from security point of view. There are army camps everywhere and with school and lots of diplomatics residing in this area, it is safe enough.

I spent 2 week in Nepal 2 months ago and there was shortage of water everywhere from Maharaj gunj, Swayambhu to Chahabi, Patan to name just a few.

Jawalakhel is just too expensive and I am sure other good areas are even more or the equal in number. Godavari and surrounding area are nice but with the fear of Mao, I would rather choose to be closer. It shocked me when realtor told me a going price for One ropani land of Rs. One crore in Jawalakhel area. But water is plentiful and it is a good mixture of all types of people from foreigners to diplomats, etc.
